I really don't know where I stand on the political spectrum. It is problematic as I there are times when I agree with the Left but not those on the Far-Left and there are times when I agree with the people on the Right and don't agree with those on the racist Far-Right.

It means that if you were an American you would hate and fear both Trump, and AOC, and would be a Biden supporter. BFD!

But seriously..

Being a "Centrist" is a thing. You dont have to be one "wing" or the other, left or right. And many would salute you for being a pragmatist, and an independent thinker who listens to both sides. Maybe in the UK its more expected to go extreme, and not to loiter in the middle of the road.

You're in the center. Many people are independent which means they think for themselves and don't identify with a political party.

I'm one of those rare people who don't agree with any side. There are aspects from each that I partly agree with but there is not enough in any party's manifesto to make me vote for them.

You are you.

I don’t identify as “right” or “left,” per se. I like some things that liberals like; others that conservatives like.

I am me. I’m a registered Independent.

I hate Americans on both the left and right. I don't even consider myself a centrist anymore, I'm leaning more towards anarchy and am hoping that after Trump screws everything up we'll all be left to fend for ourselves in the coming disaster.

Politics is a spectrum, not a binary. That spectrum changes a lot from country to country as issues are perceived differently. Even within the broad “left” and “right” there are a variety of competing ideologies and motivations and people will rarely agree with everything stereotypically associated with one “side”. But there are also a whole host of ideologies that don’t fit neatly into a dichotomy, and many individuals who don’t have an ideology so much as an intuition.

So, what are you if you are not entirely of the left or entirely of the right? A normal person.

Me too, except I vote by choosing what seems to be the lesser evil.

I kind of like the term "politically homeless".

You're not a centrist. Whatever that means.
You should understand that there are many different aspects, and tge terms "left" and "right" are very crude. Even "far left" and "far right". You can be a monarchist (that's far right in political terms) and not a racist (which is far right in racial terms).
You can be aurhoritarian left, or right, you can be democratic, or libertarian left/right.
You can be a racist, but not a sexist, or the other way round.
You can be culturally progressive ("left") but economically neoliberal ("right"), like the US democratic party or you can be culturally conservative ("right") and economically neoliberal ("right"), like the US republican party. (Note: there's currently no non-"right" economic option in the US).

Pretending that a complex political view could be in any but a very rough way projected onto the one dimensional spectrum of left-right is like, say, representing a tesseract(4 dimensional) as a line (one dimensional).
It's not entirely meaningless... But almost.

I consider myself to be of the political center, but the only options these days are far-left anarchy and fascism.

You are a centrist who may understand both liberal and conservative views.
