TAPs Act.

This is another one of those things under the radar that make me not want to vote for a Republican for Congress or Senate this time around. Also the person running in my district wants to track sex buyers with a similar system. I strongly hate Democrats, but they have their own issues. I hate how both side push for things like FOSTA, repeal of section 230, TAPS act, CLOUD IT act, EARN IT act, and other things. f**k them. What worries me is this is not being spoken about in the Autism or other disability communities it seems. All I hear are either Trump or Biden are dips**ts, not that Congresscritters are AIMING TO TAKE AWAY OUR RIGHTS. I am frustrated that senile boomers in many cases are making tech policy when they can't explain the Diffe-Hellman algorithm or don't even use email in some cases. I will give props to the government of Singapore, even as much I disagree with them, most of them seem tech literate, such as being able to build a Sudoku solver and just seeming more competent in general.
I will be honest, the risk reward is starting to weigh on me. Nothing against Europe in particular, but I am seeing similar s**t on the horizon for Europe as well, otherwise Europe might be a no brainer. Places like Estonia might make sense, but overall there is just a lot of stupidity in the West. I had contemplated moving to Australia, but in some ways they are ahead of the US in terms of Dystopia. If the US were to severely curtail gun right (which I think it is starting to drip towards that), outside being born here I see no overall advantage as every other aspect has been deteriorating. At this rate Paraguay seems to have the best of both world in terms of civil rights and gun culture.Hell even Canada is going the way of the US!

What do you mean with Europe is going the same direction? - the TAPs act looks to me like an attempt at preventing school shootings by persecuting kids for being odd. It's quite obviously an awful approach. But I see nothing like it around here, mainly because .... There's a school shooting in Europe about every other year - if you include Russia (which Wikipedia does).
It seems, in the US, it's every other week...

Sorry I did not mean TAPs act, but the big brother bureaucracy and some surveillance state apparatus are even being discusses in Europe, which is worrisome to me. Sorry did not mean to mess that up I just mean big brother in general, but still not quite as bad as Anglo countries at least yet.
