All I'm expert enough to say on the matter is, Hmm, interesting article;

Quote:
How Voting by Mail Could Cost Biden the Election
While in-person voting looks safer than expected, mail-in voting looks more dangerous—not because of fraud, but because of human error and partisan politics.

Trump found a way last time and will probably find a way this time.

Too late, I already voted by mail.

I know how to vote by mail because I read the instructions.

I voted by mail and read the instructions 3 times to make sure I was doing it right. I voted for Biden, because it was a choice between competency with short comings or total insanity, which is what we have now. I don't doubt Trump going quiet, in fact I total suspect him to contest states.

It is most certainly safer for voters to vote by mail than to congregate in large groups on election day.

That being said, Trump will undoubtedly use this as an excuse to sow doubt about the integrity of the election.

On the other hand, the much higher propensity to vote by mail at some time before the election will likely blunt the effect of "October surprises", as the possibility of influencing the election by last-minute revelation decreases.

Biden also has the advantage over Trump - since already cast mail-in votes are more likely to be for him - that he can focus more on undecided voters and battleground states up to election day. Trump has to spread his focus and resources thinner.

im worried trump will use voting by mail is flawed and so on as a way to say he won even if he doesn't. I'm voting in person because of that. I feel like I should put on a tinfoil hat for saying that, but the reality is that I believe that statement isn't far from reality and no tinfoil is required.

Anyway. That pleased the young democrat who came to my door polling, that I'm going out to vote. he wanted me to promise to not go voting alone, he's worried about bully tactics at the polling places. Then he reminded me to wear a mask. What a bizarre election year this is for us in the states.

We are having Trumpers here in Portland milling around near some ballot drop off boxes and they will just honk their horns at anyone and shout at anyone who is dropping off their ballot. People feel intimidated by it but for me, I would just ignore them. They can't get to my ballot when it's secured in the box.

Is there anyway the police can be brought in to break up the Trump fans? After all, it's clearly voter intimidation, and illegal.

On an autism website, you're referring to people as "ret*ds"?

Secondly, it's a rule violation to insult Trump supporters by calling them "ret*ds".

It's analogous to calling liberals the name of "liberal" (ret*d liberal).

Yeah it’s kind of hurtful for people to use a cognitive slur for political differences.

I tend to think this is dumber than being a progressive. It's not even partisan politics anymore when people are being harrased & often killed for disagreements with neo-conservatives. If you are voting for Trump, you are voting for domestic terrorism.

Trump fans already clearly stated that they do not care about how half the country feels. It's pretty ironic to be told we can't turn slurs around by any conservative now.

[Mod]I've edited out an offensive term. Decided to keep the posts discussing it in order to make sure everything keeps making sense.

Trump cultists should behave in a manner that wouldn't lead others to believe they are cognitively impaired.

I'm semi-quarantined yet again because of covid. Otherwise, I would have already voted.

Our early voting site is at city hall. Everyone there knows my niece and I and knows that she has covid right now. If I go over to vote, they'll chase me out. They already told my younger brother (my niece's father) (we all work together) to not come over until after two weeks of quarantine.

Even if I should get covid again, voting on election day wouldn't be a problem as long as I could make it to the polls. In a precinct with about thirty voters, the poll workers are happy to bring the ballot to the voter out in the parking lot. I'll be able to stand outside, downwind of them, and vote, if necessary. I could probably even have them mark the ballot for me so I never touch anything.
