Future possible presidential candidate in 2024 Ivanka Trump has been telling the media they "don't get to call an election as she and her father mount legal challenges in their :"trumped" up voting fraud (no pun intended).

So it seems a little hypocritical when she called the election result in Alaska for her father with a celebratory twitter post with a message “President Trump and Senate Republicans win Alaska, overwhelmingly and by a massive 20 point spread!” she wrote.

In response to Ivanka’s tweet, critics said it appears it’s fine if those late results go the President’s way, but it’s “rigged” if they are a win for the Democrats.
Not only that, the source she retweeted, AP, has already called the election for Joe Biden.
“I thought the news media can’t call elections, Ivanka. Can you please tweet me when you figure out WTF you’re talking about,” US media personality Andy Cohen wrote in response.
“Ivanka celebrates the news media’s Alaska projection after days of Republicans claiming that the news media cannot determine the outcome of elections,” MSNBC producer, Kyle Griffin wrote.

There must not be anything newsworthy going on in the world today.

But does give you a glimpse of the calibre of a future presidential candidate for 2024, apple doesn't fall far from the tree

I wouldn't know, I place too much value on my time to waste it reading about an ex-president's daughter.

Careful lest you be crucified for using the word "ex".

Ivanka fancies herself presidential material. She certainly has more brains than Trump Jnr.

Side question. I wasn't paying attention so it might be a common knowledge that I just missed, but is Ivanka planning to run in 2024? I heard Donald Trump thinks of running in 2024. So are they contemplating a possibility of running against each other in the primaries? Is it a family division, or is it, instead, a strategic cooperation (as in, if one of them loses the other will win)? Or is it rather that they only intend for one of them to run, they just haven't decided who?

I'm sure a large number of people are or will be planning to run for POTUS in 2024.

Hopefully including my favorite long time candidate, Vermin Supreme

I wonder how much worse it would be if, rather than a family member making that sort of statement, it was instead one of the 2 candidates.

Something along the lines of this, from the first debate:
HOST: Vice President Biden, Final question for you. Will you urge your supporters to stay calm while the vote is counted and will you pledge not to declare victory until the election is independently certified?
Mr Biden: Yes.

In his defense, I don't expect him to remember what he says.

There are five possibilities

Trump Snr
Ivanka
Trump Jnr
Mitch McConnell
A dark horse

I think the Trump clan are highly likely to be around as kingmakers in the congress so it makes sense one of them put their hand up.

Trump Snr will be 78 yrs old in 2024 which might be too old but if he's still in good health then that's possible. Trump Jnr is another possibility but he comes across as lacking his father's charisma and the brains department. That leaves Ivanka. She came across to be me as fairly stable but it's hard to say she (or Trump Jnr) might just be sock puppets to her father the same way Donald was a sock puppet to Frank Trump.

Fred Trump was Donald’s father. He was no bargain, either.

I hope a different Republican Party, which excludes Trumpism, will emerge.

In the meantime I'm hoping for a Trump reality show soap that's somewhere between Dynasty and The West Wing.
