Favorite Biblical figures besides Jesus

I'm excluding Jesus because you're kind of supposed to like him.
Here are my picks:
David: yeah he screwed up royally (pun intended), but he wrote beautiful psalms.
Elijah: the man had no chill. I loved his fire.
Tobit: He was friends with an archangel!
St. Peter: the first pope, and I feel like if I were Peter, I probably would have made the same mistakes he did.

• Mary of Nazareth, the mother of Jesus.

• Elizabeth, Cousin of Mary, and mother of John.

• Ruth, the Moabite.

• Naomi, Ruth's mother-in-law.

• Martha, sister of Lazarus.

• Esther, the Queen.

• Mary Magdalene, an unacknowledged disciple of Jesus.

• Rachel, wife of Jacob/Israel, and mother of Joseph.

• Hagar, the Egyptian and mother of Ishmael.

Honorable Mention: Eve, Adam's wife.

Lucifer.

The one most identify with is....Onan!

I also love the angels of the old testament. Their like God's enforcers and fixers.
When the humans mess things up really bad, and God needs to sort them out on a big scale.
He pulls the angels in to sort them out.

From a Rasta minded perspective:
The Nazarite's, those among the 12 tribes who have taken the Nazarite Vow.

I also personally like the book called Ecclesiastes, written by Ecclesiastes.
I found it hilariously "all people are idiots" and "I told you so" type of wisdom going on.

I figure a lot of Aspies would identify with his dry wisdom / humour.

I am not just being sarcastic or anything I actually even as a kid liked the parts where he was mentioned. Like idk he didn't seem so evil more like he tried to get people to ask more questions than just go along with things. To be fair God was my worst favorite character, though Jesus was ok and I know in some interpretations he's just supposed to be like a part of god...but well either way I liked Jesus better, at least he was kind.

Of course it is all just mythology to me now.

Job ...

Horrific suffering is just a test

GOD: "Job, all your life you've had it easy, while others have suffered".

GOD: "I want to play a little game, and test your resolution".

Elisha obviously who massacred 42 children and did so by calling upon the Lord to send bears against them.

i love the film Dogma

That's how i kind of envisage the Angels too
although i have no problem with the sexy woman with angel wings visual

they don't really seem to weight up to the old testament idea of what they Angels got up to
find the story of how Jacob wrestled with an angel, who sorted him out.
