So maybe he isn’t as crazy racist as some imagine him to be.

Also the fact that he pardon so many people shows that he isn’t Stalin or Hitler either.

It wouldn't have made a difference if he had - Mr Chauvin faces state charges, while Presidential pardons are restricted to federal crimes.

He would need a pardon from the state's governor...

That is one reason why Trump could not pardon himself -- most of his crimes violate state laws, not federal laws.

Trump's Justice department did intervene on Chauvin's plea deal, and declare that a 10+ year plea deal was not enough.
