Yep I asked some people in my life about what I thought was my guardian angel and I got the same response from everyone “no, and not only do we not have guardian angels assigned to us, but angels don’t exist at all” and I believe both of those, also another one of them told me angels “were” only God’s messages in forms of spiritual beings. I also believe that too.

I for one believe in them, and guardian angels too. Just note that if you have a certain illusion of angels that you wish to maintain, don't read the second chapter of Ezekiel. There's a reason why they don't often appear before humans, and why they are known to say "do not be afraid" when they do.

you're right. Our popular image of angels: beautiful figures with white swan wings, is not from the Bible. Its from the Pagan ancient Greek "Nike" sculptures. Nike was the goddess of victory- a lady with wings. The early Christians pinched that image for angels.
Real Biblical angels looked rather different, and less attractive.

I’ve gotten what started few opinions in the beginning of a thread, now the weight of the whole play is getting heavy and more emphasized. There was a recent saying of tons of different people. As usual we have no proof that anyone one is born with a guardian angel, it really doesn’t say it an any Bible or other historical evidence God told us we all have our own individual guardian angel, yea. but one person I know says that statement then mentioned also God would give all good things to his children who ask. So is there biblical evidence talking about every single being having a guardian angel? No…I don’t see any myself in the Bible and neither has anyone else. Maybe it isn’t for every single person, but if anyone may want one, the only way to get one is to pray. BUT! Ok and this butt is a huge one…BUT!… the best to serve is God/Jesus/the Holy Spirit over all. God’s the only one worth worship. No angel, no saint, nothing that even identifies as a God. but God himself! Our Dad, our closest one yet. Jesus is the only Lord and Savior. Jehovah our only God and the Holy Spirit abide in all of us! God Bless all of you!

You want to believe? then believe! Don’t want to believe? No papers say you have to. Agree 75%? 10%? Believe that much. But remember God Jesus and the Holy Spirit work with everyone with their own independent plans! Visual learner? Jesus teachers visually!! By hunch? He uses physical feelings!! God and Jesus know how to teach and get throughout to you. Angels? He uses that. Bumper stickers? If you do best with those. I’m gonna lay this debate to rest and focus on the everyday life stuff (wwe video games, how work and services went, my relationship with “God/Jesus, music that makes me feel good, YouTube videos and only to name a few things, anything to keep me up and going”

I been thinking which thread to revive this Halloween and I think this year will be simple and one of my old threads.
This was around late September early October I started this thread then closed it 2 weeks later.
So, the reason I made that conclusion about angels not being real or at least not living sentient beings is not just because of that religious crisis I had, but because I’ve had people that whole time bringing me to my senses and giving me wake up calls and I believed them. Who knows I’m probably right but I could very well be wrong to or half right, but just stop and think: COVID-19 isn’t as strong as spiritual power, and it’s said there are countless angels. So don’t you think they would have ended COVID at least 2 months after it came into existence instead of let in millions and millions of people die? Or 9/11, it was just 3 or so airplanes and that didn’t even involve very many angels to stop them from crashing into the wtc towers leading to all the deaths involved. Day of hitler? Angels are said to let the disciples out of their prison cell by an earthquake yet they didn’t attend to the hostages of the Holocaust? There’s people I know from the projects and some group homes who have taught me about the whole “guardian angels” concept, wow, surprisingly today the ones from the projects were all either gunned down, doing life for things they didn’t do or beaten down by gangs more than once as well as one of the ones in the group home committed suicide last month. Where were their “guardian angels” then, huh? That was the point/message/opinion I was displaying at that time.

Perhaps there's even worse things which were prevented. But you don't know about it because it never happened. Also at what point would we want angels to not prevent things? Would we want angels going around slapping cheeseburgers and cigarettes out of our hands to keep us from harming ourselves?

Ok, I’ve seen some interesting opinions facts etc so I’m gonna leave this thread back open indefinitely. Angels are real, those guys were trying to brainwash me out of my religious/spiritual beliefs. Regardless of what I said about angels no longer walking earth, I accept God still uses them on earth also the Bible mentions they exist and actually appeared face to face with men. One YouTuber actually said if you don’t accept the whole Bible but only parts you like that you might not (he mentioned he didn’t say Are Definitely Not) be born again. Also I agree with one posters example that Maybe them and God want to help us but we can sometimes stick to doing things our own way which is why we don’t always “Think” our prayers are answered. BTW Jesus is my God and I owe everything to him. But I want to somehow switch the title of this thread to “opinions on angels” since the original one is negative and started out in a negative way. I decided I want this to be positive.

Might be a better idea to grab some traditional Solomonic books, maybe Joseph H Peterson or Stephen Skinner translations, and take a shot at evocation.
I can't really think of a better way to put the question to an actual test.
