Okay, so I shall preface this by saying I am and always have been a second wave feminist (no sarcasm there).

I find Muslims disagreeable because it is the ultimate patriarchal system & they don't really like transgenderism in general, so I could not hope to be the wife of a wealthy Muslim man. :o :x

Is there any point to this post other than wilful provocation?

as a Christian you would be very unlikely to marry a Muslim anyway

and I'm not sure where you get the idea that so many Christians are LBGTQ+ friendly, that seems a long way off in my estimation and as to Islam being the 'ultimate patriarchal system' I think you'll find that Christianity is pretty high up the league table

and if you find Muslims 'disagreeable' because some bloke in Saudi Arabia or wherever said something you don't like on the internet does this mean Muslims that you actually meet in daily life, assuming you do actually meet Muslims, are disagreeable to you there and then?

I probably shouldn't get involved to be honest but this is Islamaphobia and nothing else

This does seem a bit like virtue signalling, but regardless.

Fundamentalism in general sucks, it pushes a lot of people irrespective of a particular to conform to sexist views of society. I think that singling out one religion as the worst one, feels like trying to say other religions aren fine because they might not be as infamous.

But also not everyone is the worst versions of those who follow their faith, especially in the Western countries where you might see more division of church and state. Where ancient or crazy faith practices are not treated as the absolute law above more secular laws.

I agree this could spiral into Islamophobia if not moderated carefully.

As per PPR rules, please focus criticism on ideologies, like Islam, rather than groups of people, like "Muslims".
