How long until Russia says that the existence of Ukraine is the product of Critical Race Theory, and that radical trans activists have convinced Ukrainians that they can self-identify as independent?

I'm confused, what is wrong with going against Russia to support Ukraine. Imagine if Germany were cancelled when it invaded Poland? Now they have created Nazi Germany to separate themselves from it as a way to say they do not support it nor indorsed it so they created a separate name for it for World history.

I mean who wants to be held accountable for someone else's actions? I know the intention is to get Putin to stop and to get people to turn against him because they are suffering from it as well due to his actions.

I am worried about WWIII. That is what some people are calling it.

Labelling anything as "cancelling" isn't really a sincere, straight way to discuss it. It's just a politician's attempt to appeal to emotion instead of just supplying all the relevent information and letting people decide for themselves what to make of it.

I'm still not sure quite what's going on with the Ukraine thing, and I might never be sure. But it looks to me remarkably like the surprisingly violent reaction I've often seen from leaders when some group of their perceived followers starts looking like they're planning to break away. So, my simplistic grasp of the situation is that Putin is prepared to kill rather than allow his empire to shrink. It's just a shame that ordinary innocent people will get caught in the crossfire. Ukrainians will get hurt because of the invasion, Russians will get hurt because of the Western boycott, Western people will get hurt because boycotts are expensive and the leaders aren't going to foot the bill out of their own pockets. I suppose the whole Western response is being sold to the masses as doing the right thing and helping our brave, downtrodden Ukrainian brothers and sisters, pure and simple. Some truth in that angle, maybe, but I doubt it's the whole truth.

I feel like the "upwardly mobile" in Moscow and St Petersburg want to "cancel" Putin very badly.

Putin's war has caused their ambitions to go up in smoke.
