Well speaking of stereotypes, I am not sure if this counts as 'woke' but now Velma in Scooby Doo is gay. But this is what I find contradictory, because people complain about racial stereotypes like Apu.

But Velma becomes a stereotype by making her lesbian, because she fits the stereotype of the 'frumpy lesbian stereotype' if that is what you how one would describe it. But people are not offended by the stereotype unlike Apu and are cheering this on so far.

So why are racial stereotypes bad, but the frumpy lesbian stereotype is okay?
