I think the most absurd part is "stay tuned." Stay tuned to what? The EMP takes out all power and communication before the bombs hit the ground.

The doomsday clock is set to 90 seconds before midnight. Get ready for the end, smoke 'em if ya got 'em. New Yorkers are lucky, their city is a major target. There won't be much evidence humans occupied that region except rubble. (But maybe if you stay away from windows, you'll be alright.)
