Its hard to make that assessment of people we know far more about. I would say its highly unlikely a person with aspergers would have the ability to connect with people rapidly as he did.

Makes sense, although it's been said that he was like a little professor when he was a kid :P

Seriously, how can anyone answer anything but 'Don't Know?' Who even cares?

A question, how a person with savant syndrome would be seen 2000 years ago, just wondering.

Probably treated like a leper, given that the term leper didn't always mean someone with leprosy. But then again, because no-one knew anything about autism, or savantism back then, that could explain why he drew such big crowds; curiosity. I personally don't think he was, but maybe some of the disciples or apostles were. Maybe Thomas, for eg.
But as we have no real record, except the bible as has been quoted ad nauseum, we will never know. Ragtime is going to try to convince us otherwise, but he hasn't had any luck yet......

If he had Asperger's, he did a wonderful job in overcoming it.

Let me put it to you this way: Asperger's is a disability. Jesus was perfect. Therefore, He did not have Asperger's.

Who are you to authoritatively state that Asperger's is a disability? Many great people had Asperger's. Einstein is one example. Dan Aykroyd, famous SNL comic, is diagnosed with Asperger's. So are a bunch of other famous people today and throughout history. It's a positive mutation on the ordinary human.

god is perfect, jesus was human (at least for some part of his life) and therefore not perfect, just a perfectionist.

I don't believe Jesus was aspie, but Asperger Condition is NOT a disability, it is a difference. We have several advantages over the NT brains, they've got better social skills and we have better intellectual skills. This is the very clinical definition of Asperger, a trade-off, social skills for higher intellect.

It's only treated as a disability because we're a minority and we live in an ableist society, anything new and different they don't understand will be summed up as a "disorder". I'd rather die than be "cured", Asperger is a major part of who I am, and I am proud of that. Many great aspies have made significant contributions to the human race, people like Albert Einstein and Bill Gates.

This sounds like a trivial thing to speculate, I mean, even if he did have AS he's long gone now, isn't he? Or is this another way to think "Oh, famous historical figure might have had this, that makes person group even more significant to the world!" or something like that to make aspies feel better about themselves o:
