Makes you proud to live in America... where we just ...dress up in garish costumes, and wear pig noses. And half of the time we put the pig noses on upside down...so we look even dumber than wouldve looked already!

I agree with this youtuber, the English fans are much more creative and much more in sink.
Tying this thread to this thread I can’t get my head around that the country with a such a strict hate speech law that this level of offense is acceptable. This is the reason I started this thread.
Obviously it easier to arrest a 16 year girl then tens of thousands of “lads”, but still.
While we have never been as creative as the English fans, American fans(at least New York ones) were much openly bigoted and rowdy in general during the 70s than they are now.
Any English member care to enlighten me?

We don't have especially strict "hate speech" laws frankly, there is the occasional really dumb court case but the offence is quite tightly defined and the police and CPS are so severely underfunded that even more serious crimes rarely get attention.
The chants:
1+2) Paedo one is a slight exaggeration but it's about a real footballer who engaged in sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl and spent years in prison as a result.
2) Man or woman - gross.
3) Gary Neville - yeah unfair, hardly hate speech though. And unless I'm much mistaken, Neville isn't involved in the match at all.
4) (gonna group all the other Saville ones in together) very tasteless
there's then a group that are inoffensive
there are then two chants about Darren Ferguson, a manager who is the son of Sir Alex Ferguson.
5) "Your dad's a c**t and so are you" - colourful
6) "She said no, Fergie" - reference to Ferguson assaulting his ex-wife.
7) "Sh*gged your Mum" - yeah this I'll grant you probably shouldn't be being said in public, there's probably some other aspect to it (the home fans are probably from a place colloquially associated with inbreeding) but it would still hardly qualify as illegal.
"you fat bastard" etc. - rude and abusive but again hardly extreme
9) aaaah now we're getting to the really ugly stuff - yeah the stuff aimed at women needs to stop. I do hear less of it these days thankfully but it's still not good. Clubs should take action.
10) oh and example of the incest stuff... was expecting it to be Norwich, don't know enough about Worcestershire stereotypes.
11) Jordan Ayew - yeah, racist, shouldn't be allowed.
I was honestly expecting worse from the description. I thought this would be racist chants, tragedy chanting, homophobia, more sheep stuff around the Welsh, stuff about killing Germans, but calling actual paedophiles paedophiles barely scratches the surface.
