Thoughts on Nick Fuentes

For those who are into political commentary, I'm sure you probably caught wind of Fuentes. He went from being this obscure conservative who is openly racist and misogynistic and rants about his views on Rumble to now being the face of Gen z conservativism post Charlie Kirk. At first glance you would think not many people would take him seriously, but when you see him being platformed by Tucker Carlson, Vauletainment aka Patrick Bet David, and Pires Morgan. He has a pretty significant following despite his views being more geared towards 1950s America.

I may not agree with his views but I can see why he appeals toward young white gen z men since for the longest time they felt villainized by the mainstream left for not being woke enough. He kinda speaks towards that mgtow audience who feel that the American dream of having a wife and a family has become less obtainable.

For those on the spectrum I can see where he would strike a chord,. Many of us aren't promised a normal adult life, so we often shunned by society for being lazy, overly dependent on our parents, and a burden to society. With autism diagnosis being high among gen z, I can see where he may grab those who are autistic/neurodivergent. Again, I don't agree with his views, but Im just saying that I see why his appeal is so strong with young men particularly those who didn't grow up popular in school, and those who are tired of being demonized for being white.

I personally as a black/Hispanic male don't think we as men should villainize all women, nor should we glorify being racist and anti-Semitic. I do know what is like being rejected for being too weird or not fitting into the mold of what the world views as masculinity. I know what is like being laughed at for being a virgin despite living in the conservative bible belt for much of my life. I can see where men who may not share Fuentes views on a lot of things may feel vindicated.

I'll give this a go. Building your platform on racial identity and hating other races is low hanging fruit. we crossed that bridge long ago where judging people on characteristics they were born with is no longer appropriate in 2025.

Fuentes appeals to a segment of the population who intellectually lazy and blame their personal problems on people who are socially less entitled. It's easy to "punch down" and Fuentes knows there aren't consequences.

Intellectual laziness leads to gullibility and a false sense of moral superiority. In reality Fuentes and his groypers are bullies.

Absolutely. I don't think we should project our failures on people who did us no harm. He sounds much like Jesse Lee Peterson who holds a lot of Nick's views but he's less vocal about Jews.

Agree with the OP's reasons. I would add the what has been happening in Gaza, and the antisemitic part of the rapidly expanding anti zionist movement, and the reelection of Trump has emboldened bigots.

No, we shouldn't villainize men or women, or different races of people. But how has society twisted and expanded evermore so the definition of racism and misogyny for decades? In Europe, anything to the right of saying abortion should be outlawed or is just wrong in most cases (which is a moderately conservative position in reality) is now called fascism.

The Overton window has shifted steadily to the left for decades and decades that today even some celebrities are being "cancelled" by their industries and fans for perceived slights after being respected in the past.

He's a little creep IMO. Now, how can be a white supremist with a last name like this? That's a latin/hispanic name. So clearly, he is confused or in denial about his own self.

The vast majority of antisemites are conservatives. Also, Zionism is a Christian movement, aimed at fulfilling the End Times prophecy. It has absolutely nothing to do with helping the Jewish community. That's part of the reason why many prominent Jews like Noam Chomsky and Bernie Sanders are speaking out against Zionism.

Zionism is a Jewish movement Christian Zionists have glommed onto for end times reasons.

Bernie Sanders is a zionist who believes Israel is committing genocide.

What percentages of groups are antisemitic is hard to poll. Very few will admit to being antisemitic. What they do is ask respondents if they believe common antisemitic stereotypes. The problem with this is just because a person holds some antisemitic stereotypes does not necessarily mean that person is an antisemite.

The majority of conservatives are not antisemites.

A significantly higher percentage of people on right part of the spectrum are antisemitic.

On the left part of the political spectrum extreme tone deafness is more of an issue then hatred, fear, and prejudice against Jewish people. This problem has come to the fore since October 7th. Jewish claims that certain phrases and ideas are harmful to Jewish people are often dismissed as insignificant compared what is going in Gaza or they are viewed as enabling genocide. The emergency nature of the situation is causing people to evolve from tone deafness to antisemitism.

Because Nazi antisemitism was both right wing and unique not taking seriously enough harm the left causes Jews is going to an issue for the foreseeable future.

In theory his personal proclivities and his pro-catholic/pope stance should make him unsavoury to the far right. But in the ultimate war on "great replacement" of Europeans he is (for the moment) an ally. But if the far right do come to power, Fuentes should remember what became of the brownshirts and Ernst Rohm.

2. promote the idea that "organized Jewry" is a corrupting influence and controls the U.S. government, media, and society.
3. promote the "Great Replacement" theory, which claims that this cabal of international Jewry are forcing white Americans to be demographically replaced by non-white immigrants.
4. Offer a solution of a) race war and b) form a separate white state
5. Rinse repeat

From what I gather, his own proclivities allows him to be more tolerant than the rest of the right concerning gay and trans followers. Hence Charlie Kirk's shooter, a groyper, having a trans significant other.

Kraichie, remember how anyone drawing lines between Kirk's shooter and Groypers was being cancelled. Jimmy Kimmel for example. But yes as obvious as the sun giving us light. the shooter was a Groyper, a natural ally of Kirk. we know
Fuentes fell out with Kirk due to the latter's views on trans. Coincidence?

A possible reason young men are being drawn to Nick Fuentes, Charlie Kirk, Andrew Tate and tucker Carlson.
