Anyone remember my "HA HA HA HA ....Look how much religious ppl are desperate" thread ? http://www.wrongplanet.net/modules.php? ... highlight=

it was about desperate muslims who created fake photos to prove that humans were of 90 feet .

Some religious people there demanded my ban because my thread was 'offensive' to religious people :( ....but why I am the one to be blamed ? I am not the one who's creating these stupid hoaxes , no ? If a normal person says 1+1=3 ...we would all laugh at him , it's not our fault ...it his fault for being so dumb , no? ok ok I know , I am jerk ass .

Anyways .....this is another "HA HA HA HA" thread on creationists but this time Christian Creationists :P

In a famous bible site , they claimed that they found a dinosaur fossil eating a man ...which prove that dinosaurs and men coexisted ...so they concluded that the earth of 4.2 billion years old'fact is wrong and the young earth(6000 yrs) is the correct one ...HURRAY!!

this is their link of their victory : http://www.biblelandstudios.com/nuke/mo ... int&sid=38 (PS:notice how dark, clean and clear these fossils are ...i never saw such dark, clean and clear fossils for real or on TV before ...never)

biblelandstudios: HURRAY!! HURRAY!! HURRAY!! HURRAY!! HURRAY!! Creationists are the winners ! NANANANANA Creationists are the winners! Evolutionists are the looooooosers ! !!

but after a while ....ooops ...something was revealed :

the biblelandstudios.com's president confessed that these photos were fakes : http://www.biblelandstudios.com/nuke/mo ... cle&sid=41

Didn't they look so dumb?? Why they always fabricate hoaxes ? isn't because they are so desperate to prove the young earth of the bible yet they are not finding real scientific evidences?

Now hear me well creationists : HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA ! !! ! :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

The fellow that owns the website says he knew the photos were fake when he posted them... that is classic :D

This episode illustrates that truth is really not important to the creationist agenda, as long as they can convince people to believe, the end justifies the means...

Even assuming it was genuine, this could cut both ways. Just as easy to claim that its proof mankind is older than first believed.

The giant human pics were way better, and kind of cool.

Ha, and there have never been pro-evolution hoaxes that were long touted by elolutionary scientists as breakthrough proofs of the theory? (Sorry, this is like shooting fish in a barrel... it's too easy, I HAVE to do it.)

1. Piltdown Man: An Orangutan Jaw and a Human Skull!

2. Nebraska Man: A Single Pig Tooth

3. Ota Benga: The African Native Put Into a Cage

4. Java Man: A Skullcap, Thighbone, and 2 Molar Teeth

5. Orce Man: 4-Month-Old Donkey Skull

6. Boule's Neanderthal Man: Reconstructed in 1915. Marcellin Boule wrongly arranged the foot bones so that the big toe diverged from the other toes to look like an opposing thumb. The knee joint was misplaced to give a bent-knee look. The spine was misshapen so it couldn't stand upright and the head was placed in an unbalanced position too far forward.

Boule's model of Neanderthal man was placed on display in the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago for 44 years before the mistakes were discovered! After the mistakes were disclosed, they kept it on display for another 20 years until they created a new Neanderthal model. What did they do with the old inaccurate model? Instead of throwing it in the garbage can where it belonged, they moved it to the second floor of the museum and displayed a new sign, "An Alternate View of Neanderthal." But it wasn't an alternate view. It was a wrong view.

I aways liked the old half a cat/half a salmon mermaid fake. Not sure which way that one swung the argument.

I suspect there is a difference between a deliberate hoax by an individual which is then presented to the scientific community as genuine, and a hoax perpetrated BY the scientific community. (Or the religio-scientific community.) Science has been fooled more than a few times, as have the religious types. I'm not so sure very many are deliberate attempts BY either community to deliberatly f**k people over. Mostly they just look a bit embarrassed

I think a well-planned and cunning hoax is a thing of beauty -- however the motive should remain pure; do it for the lulz, not to back up a bunch of bull.

One of my all time favorites is Noah's Ark that was found on top of a mountain in Pennsylvania. I decided to look into it a little bit. They had dropped the name of the Archaeologist that had found it, in the tabloid article. I was very curious who in the Arch world would lend there name to this monumental discovering. He was supposedly French and I found he doesn't exist. At one time you could buy t-shirts from this tabloid with your favorite cover head lines. I regret I didn't get that one. I love reading those things some times, I mean the really really trashy ones. Not the celebrity nonsense, I could give a hoot about them. I want real Science, lol.

Yea, but these hoaxes were not invented by scientists and still creationism's hoax are much much more in number...and most of them are created/published by creationists :)

Some hoaxes were, though, like that one in England where a guy actually filed down a primate skull's teeth to flatten them so they'd look more human, then diberately attached a human jaw bone. I couldn't find that one right off, so I didn't include it in the list. But that is a deliberate fake, and there are many others I have heard about and seen on videos in school.

And you're not addressing #6 on my list -- how they refused to simply remove the hoax skeleton -- which they completely found out was a mistake -- but instead left it on display for decades! That's blatant dishonesty designed to advance the case of evolution in the public eye.

And true, Macbeth, people don't arrange these hoaxes just for the pleasure of attacking the other side, but rather for personal reasons, such as increased funding of their own research field, and even to get more personal research grants. There's a very definite reward in it for them. It's not for practical jokes.

Except while those examples have not been mentioned in Biology textbooks for decades, the creationist hoaxes and lies are still percolating throughout church groups, Kansas boards of education, and mainstream websites of these people.
