Religious frusteration

So...my family-er well my parents (dad mostly) are christians
my dad is catholic
he has this picture of Jesus he's always put right in the front hall way, for as long as I can remember...
I've had to stare at that stupid picture for so many years
I will be happy the day I get to come home and it not being there
I have a sun (representing the Sun God) on my door
Its still annoying, to have to see something you are against every day-I am not naysaying christians
just that damn picture!

any of you have a similar story?

im sure if jesus was alive he wouldnt want his picture taken.

what if jesus is really god? and religion is overrated i agree. thats cool you believe in whatever

christianity started after jesus. i wouldnt worry about it

the first book written was written some 70 years after his death.
thats alot of years to input your own dogma, so i wouldnt worry about it

I have to pretend I'm Christian most of the time where I live because I can't handle the drama that gets started when people think I'm a satanist, it drives me nuts everyone else can express their beliefs except for me.

Also according to most of the Christians in the area I'm going to hell in a hand basket where I'll burn for eternity, but thats ok because I just saved a ton of money with Geico.
