Okay, there are obviously plenty of you who do not espouse any religious views or beliefs, but WHAT are you?

By the way: excuse me for not including "secular humanist," for I am sure that they are here in quantity.

i'd say scientific realist with agnosticism. there isn't a god in the capacity described by most western religions so to that extent, i say i'm atheist because to them it doesn't matter what you are if you aren't one of their accepted religions.

Einstein had the very unfortunate habit of speaking of God and his beliefs in terms that religious people assumed he was religious in their sense which he made clear many times he was not. He merely was humble at the fantastic interactions of the basic laws of the universe.
I am not religious in the sense of worshiping anything but I have the feeling that the basic universal physical laws coordinate to produce certain results. I am reasonably sure that this configuration of laws is not conscious but nevertheless it represents a strange kind of intelligence which produces the results we see around us. To call this a religion would be stretching the word almost totally out of shape.
I have noticed that this is my post number 666. I don't know what superstitious people would make of that.

That gave me a good chuckle. Nice quote-edit.

I'm more of an agnostic skeptic on the brink of atheism. I'm not 100% atheist yet, because sometimes I'm certain that there is no god and other times I'm just not sure. I kind of believe that the universe and nature are both intelligent. Not god-like, but intelligent nonetheless. Also, I don't see the universe as a "design", since the universe is extremely chaotic. The Big Bang theory sounds a little logical to me, but part of me wants to believe the the universe has no beginning or end, because it just is.

I would most likely classify myself as a Buddhist...which, technically, is a non-theist religion as there are only teachers and leaders, no god.

I have had what I call my "moral code" [encompassing strict vegetarianism, pacifism, and tolerance above everything else] since I was about 10 years old. When I was 19 I discovered that the principles I uphold are most closely aligned with the principles of Buddhism, so I started calling myself Buddhist just to make things simpler for people to understand.

I have an "OM" symbol pendant that I wear religiously [no pun intended], and I eventually want to get an OM symbol tattoo.

well here's why i'm perma-agnostic for now and see if this makes sense to you. just because there's no proof of god in the terms that our religions describe doesn't necessarily mean that there is or was no higher power of some kind. but then again, you go into "how do you define god?" from that point. but i've yet to see something that completely dismisses the possibility but the probability is very low right now.
