About Obama causing all the inflation and that he's a muslim and supposedly that he's said he's a muslim and that they can't prove his birth.


It's a shame that people can't accept change gracefully and instead hide behind logical fallacies. I politely pointed out to him that it was Ben Bernanke's low interest rates that are a more direct cause for the inflation and just smiled and nodded through the rest.

Anyone else get irate old people rant at them about Obama? It's not the first time something like this has happened to me and it almost seems like it's that I'm young (to them) is why they rant at me.



/all I was doing was going to get my mom a birthday card...it's a cute one, too, with Mr Rogers on it.

I just get mad when people rant about Obama for the wrong reasons.

Obama Haters:
Stop calling him "Barack Hussein Obama". I don't care that that's his real name, stop that.
Stop saying he is from Kenya. Even if he was, I don't care.
Stop saying he's a Muslum. Even if he was, I don't care.
Stop saying he hates white people. First of all, he's half white. Second, he hates proletarians, like most world leaders.
Stop calling him a Nazi. Don't be stupid.
Stop calling him a communist. He loves the megacorporations, and the rich-poor divide is still growing under him.
Stop saying he's an atheist. It wouldn't matter if he was one.

The fact about Obama is he's just another greedy, lying politician. Most of them are.

I doubt that old man was hiding behind anything. He simply cannot accept the *direction* of the change he perceives and he does not understand it would not matter who was President.

This kind of hate and generalization will ALWAYS be typical of individuals when the political party they are against (or not rooting for) is in power. I dont think I ever heard my dad talk so much about politics since Clinton was in office.

You should care. That would mean he has foreign allegiances, and that it is unconstitutional for him to hold the office of the President.

People seem to be thinking that "Muslim" equates to "TERRORIST" which is bad and stereotyping

Even if he were, babies do not make foreign allegiances.

Unless you are suggesting he spend his well documented adulthood there?

He spent much of his childhood abroad...and not at a military base or embassy/consulate either. His crucial years of development were spent in a country that still had a lot of anti-American sentiment due to recent political unrest.

And actually, less is known about his adulthood than most presidents.

If Obama is a Muslim then why has he appointed Jews and dual-citizenship Israelis to almost every post it is within his power to grant?

He was raised Muslim but I didn't say he embraced Islam as an adult, I said he was raised in a culture of extreme anti-American sentiment.

It is nonsense about Obama being a Muslim. As to inflation this is general caused by governmental mishandling of money flows. We had a wicked inflation during the Johnson administration. He was monetizing the debt and cranking out far too much credit based money (the so-called government printing press) in relation to the actual productivity of the economy so prices went up. In addition to which unemployment went up also. Hence the so-called misery index; the rate of inflation plus the rate of unemployment. Nixon did little to cure the problem and Jimmy Carter ended up holding the bag for both Johnson and Nixon. Plus he was a poor manager anyway.
