Think the Clintons Prefer McCain as President over Obama?

The Clintons talk about McCain's patriotism and experience and imply that Obama has neither. They've been doing this repeatedly so it's not a gaff. I believe that the Clintons want McCain to win if Obama gets the nomination.

I don't think that the Clintons really believe that McCain would be a better president. I think it's so that Hillary could run against him in 2012 if she fails to get the nomination in 2008.

Yeah, she seems to be sabotaging the Democrats chances in this election. If she cared about what was best for her party she would drop out of the race gracefully, but she won't do that and the longer this drags on with no nominee the more likely it is McCain is going to win in November. Obama is in the lead, so the logical thing to do would be for Hillary to drop out and let him get his momentum going ASAP.
