This is a poll to see how much biology education people have vs whether or not they accept evolution.

I'm in a grad program... I accept evolution.

Umm.... if you edit your post early, you can sometimes catch the poll to edit it.

I am a freshman biology major with three bio courses under my belt, and I will be taking a graduate course in bio in the fall. I accept evolution, and the more I learn about it, the more elegant I find it.

Still technically in high school, but AP Bio is considered equivalent to undergraduate courses, and my university is giving me credit for two classes of bio off of it, so I think I can say I've had undergrad bio. Plus a good degree of self-study, as I had an interest for a while in evolutionary development of morality and some other aspects of it as well.

You may assume I've issued some snarky remark along the lines of which if I said it it would be both obvious and detrimental to the flow of this thread.

Self educated (took highschool bio, hated it, spent the whole time gaping in awe at the sheer incompetence of the teacher),
Ah buh-leave in eh-vole-you-sean.

I would say that I *accept* evolution as much as I say that I acknowledge evolution as a fact supported by Physical evidence. Those of you who question evolution have about as much merit as the FLAT EARTH SOCIETY :!:
Took Bio in HS, loved it, started out as a biochem major in college but realized that I wasnt really any good at bio or labchem so I switched back to math and theoretical physics. I STILL managed to learn so very important principles in chem/biochem which made me aware that chemical reactions which Decrease entropy DO Exist and DO NOT VIOLATE THE 2ND LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS! There really is NO need for a Supernatural Power when it comes the the gradual emergence of order from Chaos.

Graduate coursework in plant physiology, microbiology, terrestrial and wetland ecology and environmental sciences.

I believe that the evidence for evolution is overwhelming.

I indeed believe that I evolved from ape-like primates. I also believe that my ape-like ancestors were smarter than creationists

What I can't wrap my head around is why this is still being debated.

I don't like biology. I don't have it in me to cut up animals and what have you, not my thing. I still believe in some form of evolution.

So, in other words, those who have been taught evolution for longer periods of time believe it more.

Big surprise.

What if I said that people who have seminary educations are more likely to believe in God?

That wouldn't be much of a shocker either.
