The guy (brownish shirt) in the first video @ 2:07 might be confusing the congregation for an NSDAP meeting.

it's sad that so many people are so desperate for salvation and yet refuse to save themselves.

and wtf to the last video with the family borrowing thousands not to pay off bills but to make god happy so god'll pay off the bills??

Yeah, the scam ranges from rather benign (a few bucks donation for a few hours of entertainment, as Marjoe likes to see it) to downright predatory and destructive.

dunno about that...in the video where he's preaching to the crowd, an elderly woman comes up to him and says some illness he has and you can see marjoe just entirely die inside when he hears it.

I would not consider that on the benign end of things - I would call it destructive (you cut off my quote - I said part of it was benign, part was destructive/predatory). I am assuming that many just get some uplifting pep-talk where people get a little scared about demons, and walk out feeling that they have Gods blessing, and they paid as much as they would have other wise for a night out. But bleeding them for money, or giving medical advice or instilling delusions that could be dangerous - that is despicable.

fully agreed but how responsible are the people who put their faith in such things? i mean the accountability can't entirely just be on the hustler...you gotta have suckers too.

Yeah, I agree. Same thing with palm readers and tarot card readers and people pushing subprime mortgages - buyer beware. Fools and greed-heads.

People are always searching for a magical cure to their problems, it always leaves the desparate open to being taken advantage of.

Reminded of William Blake's 'An Answer to the Parson':

Why of the sheep do you not learn peace?
Because I do not want you to shear my fleece.
