Cult is right. L Ron Hubbard a supreme deity? Don't make me laugh. Tom Cruise, who I sincerely think is aspie by the way, should take his medication and have a good lie down. If you want a supreme deity to follow, the Goddess Diana might do dor starters.

so i just thought up a fun hobby: baiting scientologists. probably won't work as well in many areas but i live in LA and if anyone out here is around tampa or orlando, they might be able to pull it off.

things needed:

a copy of the book dianetics. steal it if you can but the fun is worth the money...even if it just goes to the cult.

a brain. the cult is based off of many logical fallacies and many of their followers don't even understand what they think they believe rather less to stand up to reason.

Tom Cruise on the spectrum? I don't think so, he really seems to have charisma.

Speaking of them, anyone keeping an eye on the Anonymous V.S Scientology war? Google "Project Chanology" for more information on it.

Or just go here:

Watch Jerry Maguire, Rain Man and A Few Good Men. Definitely AS traits there, and I doubt it's acting. Besides his constant obsession with this cult would definitely be an indication.

I bought the book "Dianetics" when it was first published and tried out the techniques proposed with a friend and found the exercise totally useless. This was before Scientology with its simple variation of a galvanometer tried to impress people with its technological sophistication. It does relate to religion in the manner that fundamentalists in the accepted religions terrorize critics and perhaps also in an attempt to create fantasy reconstructions of history that are ready meat for the gullible. Financially it seems to be doing quite well.

Unlike the Dore program, which some may have considered a religion. It went into receivership.

How can Scientology still be allowed to practice the things they do? They harass people by following them with cameras so they can later identify them to harass him even more.

It's disturbing.

they seem to act within the fringes of the law. like invasion of privacy but things that are either public record or easily attained.

it's basically that they engage in a massive ad hominem with whoever they feel is threatening them.
