Why do so many Canadians and Americans hate eachother?

I dont get why so many Canadians and Americans hate eachother were not that different from eachother. I like Canadians sometimes more than other Americans!

Different cultures on average.

In my experience, most Americans are more close minded than most Canadians.

This forum aside, what makes you think that so many Americans and Canadians hate each other?
Biggest difference I've observed in dealing with Canadians in person is politics and even that isn't' quite as wide of a gulf as some would have us believe.
Anyhow, the best way to get along with people is to avoid politics.

Alot of it from people in the south when I lived in the south I asked about Canadians and alot of the southerners dont like them. The rest from Canadian tourists and posts on YouTube. Probably not the most reliable source but yeah. How many is "a lot"?

This poll states that 48% of Canadians have a positive view of America and 42% of Canadians have a negative view of America. However, 84% of Americans have a positive view of Canada while only 6% of Americans have a negative view of Canada.

The poll was taken in May 2012 and 1000 people in both America and Canada were polled in a national telephone survey.

I like some Canadian laws better. But with people "No Way!" It would be wrong to judge someone by what country they come from or live in. I haven't heard much of the stuff about not liking Americians though a girl in my class who is from the USA said that she had been made fun of or judged based on country.

That's two, out of 346,074,696 people (That's 34,482,779 for Canada, plus 311,591,917 for the States), making for 0.000,000,289 percent of the total population of both countries.

Now I REALLY think you are over-reacting!
