Why, because you didn't believe it happens or because they are crazy?

I laughed at them because they're idiots

I saw it, it was pretty creepy. I thought it would have been more effective if the filmmaker's bias wasn't quite so obvious though, I couldn't help but feel like I was watching some low budget Michael Moore shooting fish in a barrel.

Yeah. That was funny. And scary.

The scariest, funniest thing about it is that the people in it liked it, and did not complain of bias, but instead praised it for representing them honestly and well.

I went to a scary weekend jesus camp once, with a friend when I was a thirteen or so. It was really horrible. Do not go to jesus camps just 'cause you're happy to have a friend invite you anywhere. You have been warned.

Eh, personally I find the charismatic christians a strange, but other than that I couldn't care less what they do or say.

Honestly, if I were given the choice to either be locked in a room full of evangelical extremists, autistics, or piranhas...I'll be learning how to swim.

Charismatic Christians really frighten me. I'm glad I'm not one.

If that camp was Muslim instead of Christian, they would have been shut down long ago.

If that camp were Muslim instead of Christian, I doubt they would have started up at all.

That movie was the best thing to ever happen to that camp.

Without it, it would still be running and spewing out its bile.

I prefer when bias is evident because everyone has a bias that influences how they cut a film. Films that try to hide the bias are not always as interesting. I would argue that the filmmaker showed less editorial authorship than many documentaries. The filmmaker basically let Becky Fisher, the woman who runs the camp, talk so much that she ended up hanging herself and showing everyone what she's made of. I mean, just listening to her for a couple minutes, you can tell that woman is not a very sane person.

Becky Fisher & her ilk always seem to have 0.00% self-awareness. They probably have no clue how crazy they sound because of their drumtight internal logic.

I'm not sure, but that sounds as though you are saying it would a camp for extremists. I have Muslim friends. If it's meant in a bad way, it will offend me.

Don't people just choose to be offended? Isn't that the line?
