Actually, I've been to Alabama, the Gulf Shores area, and was quite impressed. For being in a red state, that place was NICE!

Just joshing about Alabama - it is a twist on the original saying about poor Mexico, so far from God, so close to the United States. I recast it because of the ambiguity between the US state and nation in the Caucasian mountains. Humor seems to require confusion, and it was easy to pick up on the confusion over this 'Georgia' label common in the US.

I've been across many nice places in the South - Biloxi Mississippi and Crystal River Florida are both great places on the Gulf. I like the rolling hills of Tennessee, the University of South Carolina, and my son in law from Alabama.

Though I am of russian decent (my great grandparents came here from russia and poland), I don't trust the russians. They have never been our friends and they still aren't. They are just pretending to like us for our aid. What the russians are doinf to georgia is just whatthey've been doind for the past couple hundred years. If we ever get into a wwIII, It will be mostly against the russians.
