Well, if you were interested in the truth, you might check out a non-partisan organization like factcheck.org ... neither campaign is 100% accurate all the time, but it is pretty clear that team McCain is going for more overt distortions of the truth, including their fear-based portrayal of Obama's tax policy, and the recent allegations that Obama was a leader for 'comprehensive sex education for kindergardeners' - which was basically an age-appropriate unit on teaching kids about dealing with strangers and adults that want to fondle them.

I think he just threw away the women's vote.
John McCain used the same term to deride Hillary Clinton's health care plan less than a year ago, Barack Obama has used the term before Sarah Palin was on the political scene. Don't forget about Dick Cheney - he often uses the phrase.
What did Obama say?
Quote:
Obama used the reference as he criticized McCain's policies as similar to those of Bush, saying: "You can put lipstick on a pig. It's still a pig. You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still going to stink after eight years."

Anyone who thinks he was calling Palin a pig needs to get their grammar examined. This is a BS controversy.
