I would hardly call worshiping the earth as a religion

Satanism is a joke by people that want to get christians all riled up. Nothing evil about them. If you want to find the true evil religion, you might want to try and look at Scientology...

Neopaganism is basically the lazy man's brand of Christianity without the Jesus (i.e. Christmas trees, Easter eggs, and all those Pagan ceremonies which Christianity adopted in order to try and win over converts)

I personally don't care whether anyone practices these or not (except for Scientology). How much I talk about my religion is directly proportional to how much anyone else talks about their religion. In the case of here, where much argument over religion happens, I tend to be active. In other places, I tend to not bring the subject up. In most places, if people tell me to shut up concerning my religion, I will (although this forum is neutral ground, so you guys don't get a break :P)

Why should satanism be any more of a joke than christianity? scientology more evil than christianty? I don't think so! Yes it is nasty but at least millions of people have not been slaughtered in its name

Doesn't that then make christianity a lazy version of paganism

Satanism was created as a direct response to Christianity, since conservative churches were shoving "you have to join our church or Satan will claim you" down people's throats. Just as I, normally a moderate, assumed a hardcore liberal stance in 2003 when Faux News said "you have to support the war in Iraq and President Bush or you're a hardcore liberal", such was the case for the creation of Satanism.

Satanism is atheism with a cloven-hoofed mascot. Satanism is less passive, more active, and with a lot more convert-winning charisma than atheism.

That was nothing new for me, nothing no one could teach or that I didn't already know. I stand by my statements.

Like I said satanism and post jesus christianity both created by the same people, why should one have more credibility than the other, they are both in-credible
