Dear Senator: You bastards are history.

This bribery is transparent. I didn't ask for a tax break. Sure, taxes hurt, but this is not about my taxes. I have a 17-year-old kid and will probably not be able to pay tuition next fall, but this is not about tuition. I am actively dedicated to the sustainability movement, but this is not about the environment. Mental healthcare is an issue in my family, but I did not ask you to address that today. This is not about healthcare.

This is about treason. It's just more lies, fear mongering and haste. Just a bunch of thugs, robbing the country while it’s having a heart attack.

This bill says, “pay no attention” to the government officials behind the deregulation curtain, or to the system that caused the problem.

The add-ons don't change the fact that the basic idea of this bill is corrupt and unconscionable.

This is the "October Surprise" that everyone has been warning about. It's just another false flag.

One add-on that WOULD impress me would be a repeal of the “patriot” act. Or the closing of all those shiny new Halliburton concentration camps. But I’m not going to hold my breath for anything like that. So how about we stick to the real economic issues?

Lautenberg says, "We still have a long way to go toward tackling the root of this crisis, which is the housing market. ...1 million families from foreclosure...the kinds of abuses that got us into this situation in the first place."

If you can't do that now, with a gun to your head, when do you think you will get to it? After the election? You lying sack of s**t, you know better than anyone that nothing will get done then. Of course "doing nothing" is an option. You are “doing nothing” helpful right now, with this crap sandwich bill. This cure is worse than the disease, and will prevent any helpful measure in the future.

Ron Paul's stance remains the same. Personally, I hate him, but this time he’s right.

Why does anyone find this surprising. This bill is so loaded with crap and we are being told that it needed to be signed yesterday. This is the same tactic that a used car salesman uses to "pressure" a sale. Add to that, we have people in the "media" pushing the same "talking points" no, I mean "sales pitch" without doing any kind of actual "reporting".

The bottom line for me is this, what do people expect when political power is divided amongst 2 political parties that have no interest at all in downsizing the Federal Govt. Once you go to Washington and are sucked into Lunch and Dinner politics followed by invitation only cocktail parties then it makes sense to keep growing the Federal Govt.

Each election we are faced with the lesser of two evils or it turns into a referendum on one of the candidates and there is a really good explanation for this. They intend for this to happen. It is easy to keep growing the Fed. Govt. when people keep voting for a candidate from only one of two political parties.

Now, I'm not a conspiracy kind of person, I lean conservative on some issues and rather liberal on others. I have voted Libertarian before and plan to vote that way again. I am tired of socialist democrats and conservatives without a pair and there does not appear to be anyone that wants to represent myself and the rest of people out there that are tired of the same ole same ole crap.

So, for me, to really send a message to a political party or both of 'em is to, alas...not vote for them anymore. The election laws are so skewed towards preventing another political party from coming along and getting the same funding regulations as does our 2 prominent political parties. So, that means that a political party will not necessarily have to win an election, but get enough votes to qualify for the same status as our wonderful Democrats and Republicans. This is what they (DEms, and Reps.) fear the most because it is a loss of power. And, if this loss of power comes during this generation of politicians then their legacy will have already been written for them which, by the way, is their second biggest fear; Not having a positive legacy along with not having a library bearing their name.

Vote for the right candidate for yourself. Only you know who that might be. That is what I am doing.

P.S. Term limits for members of Congress would go very far in cleaning up "Career Politicians" out of Washington and return representation back to the people.

The Fannie Mae organization relaxed its credit standards back in 1999, and now Congress is going to reward them for it, under the direction of the Bush administration.

I wonder how the job market in Ireland is for electrical engineers... :?

Is he still alive?
Big ears are popular lately. He might have a shot.

Well, the bill passed the House and the Senate, and Mr. Bush has signed it into law.

Now what?

This was the congress' last chance to do something smart. If they couldn't do it now, with a gun to their collective head and the majority of citizens screaming "NO!" they never will.

Now, we send our children off to the final war, knowing that they are on the wrong side.
(Canada and Mexico have been absorbed and no longer exist for draft dodgers.)

Now, we stock up on water, food and guns (hide 'em real good) and hope the military doesn't bother us in our homes. Most of us will starve or be killed in food riots or in Halliburton concentration camps.

The administration has thrown away all pretence.

It's nice to know that there are others who believe it, as well! :( Just wish it wasn't true.
