Neither one of us has any idea how you made up what you said about Marys and a few other strange things, or if you believe them and if so on what basis.

I too am wondering about where richardbenson's aliens came from.

It's almost as if I could easily say that I am from the planet Viland and that Viland is actually just a reflection of the Earth in the firmament, and behind it's Constellation is the house of my order of angels and you two would preach it to the world. Viland is just my fantasy world.

Toadofsteel's response to my as yet unindexed points from the bible is a little bit off but closer than almost everyone else in here.

I still haven't figured out what religion Alexanderthesolitary is yet.

It's become a hellofa spiritual "Outer Limits" or "Twilight Zone" in this thread here! :alien:

What do you think an ant thinks of humans? Do you believe that our existence is the only possible way in all the universe.
The universe is very big and I'd guess there are other ways of existing besides what we see as our reality. I find it hard to believe that we are the highest order in the whole universe. Look how screwed up humanity is.

yes, generally thats the way i judge things especially things that i have a hard time believeing. what if i saw an angel? i dont know. ive told god in the past "hey man if you wanna pop outta the air, your gonna scare me! so dont do it" so far its worked. i havent seen an angel, . would i trust my eyes if i saw an angel? i supose i would. my mind is a courtroom and court is in session!! i dont think the ant really thinks all too much about us humans, there just getting there ant on and searching the ground for food trying to make the queen happy. i know the universe is a very big place and i dont think we are the only lifeforms in the universe, i believe in aliens if you havent noticed

Warning:
This is fringing on the Outer Limits.

I don't believe Mary was a virgin. I came to believe this after a "meditation" on the subject.

I have often said that if aliens or ghosts exist I don't want to see them. That would be a life changing event. In the past when I'd be laying in bed, sometimes I'd get this feeling like I wasn't alone. It was as if there were a presence in the room. It's a scary feeling so out of desperation I'd pray for it to go away. I heard a voice that told me to say this mantra to make it leave. It works very quickly. I've had experience with angels and demons. Maybe we see extra terrestrial life based on what we are capable of handling.

If anyone is reading this and thinks I'm completely nuts, I admit to having an active imagination. However, the coincidences that correspond to the spiritual visions took place in reality. I have a hard time believing that a series of coincidences is just random.

Wheww that feels good to get that off my chest. It's a good thing I don't have any credibility to lose.

Leviticus and Romans.

Hi, slowmutant :D

Those are two letters, written by a man who never knew Jesus, never even saw him, even spent years persecuting his followers. He takes a trip, and then tells everyone that he met the resurrected Jesus while on the road. And the people accept his story, so much so that they allow him to write a new set of laws, separate from those of Jesus, but with equal authority.

I'd love to read your take on that. :D

I think it's about time you consulted a dictionary.

Jesus saw angels and demons. Imagine if he was put on medication for thinking he was the son of God.

And, I'm not a dude.

i dont care what people say they saw thousands of years ago. people back then made up folklore and myths to explaine natural phenomina that happend around them. did you know people that had seizures in the bible were thought to have been demon possessd? its true. alot of stuff that happend back then can be disproven with modern science.

While certainly plausible, this doesn't altogether rule out demonic possession. I agree with you that some of the alleged cases of possession in the 1st century were probably just mental illness, nervous disorders, etc., not recognized for what they were. But I think some of those demon-ridden people may have actually been demon-ridden.

The miracles of Jesus clearly violated the laws of the universe as we know them. The question is, how do you respond to them? Do you doubt or believe?

secondly, how can anyone be for shure of anything that happend back then? its all he said, she said, he saw, then told him, and 6 other people witnessed whatever so called miricles happed. so in conclusion its all hersay! *starts singing im a believer* christians are the most delisional bunch out there! but i guess you have to be to believe in santa clause. most people today want to feel good, and santa clause makes everyone feel good.

oh yay presents for everyone!

Do you have a spell check? I know about sleep paralysis. This is not earth shattering news. btw, I've never had total sleep paralysis. Maybe you should investigate DMT instead. DMT is in every living thing. It's a hallucinogenic. Our minds are not closed systems, devoid of the portal of where you think aliens reside.

Have you had much interaction with the mentally ill? I've gotten to know some people on the streets which makes me think there are demons.
The hacker wouldn't want you to know he's hacking, right?

I don't know, I find culdasacs to be quite perplexing sometimes. Ever drive through the burbs of a big city? See?!?

Indeed! Indeed! Indeed!
It's like tripping on The Dark Side of the Rainbow in here now.
How do you think those crazy people got those demons?
And whose voices told you all that stuff while you were meditating?

And look how OT of the OP this thread is getting! Maybe this will help.
"But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of the unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil."--Psalm 92:10
Shiny with oil and horny as a unicorn? Homosexual Blasphemy?

Richard, that's a completely inappropriate thing to say, even in PPR.

because one situation, is more believable. a guy poppin' outta thin air serving everyone dinner doesnt sit right with me, it might aswell be like that :?

*shocked* i thought you just said he was named after political reformist figures in the jewish community? and gabriel is an alien dude. and probably a pretty important one

Humans have proved them equally believable, i.e. able to be believed.
