:?: Hi this is my first post on the forums. I am a newbie Pagan who is looking for people to learn from and about their experiences with having AS and also with being Pagan. I am just curious. I am looking for people to relate to. How do you adapt your practice? Connect with nature. I am feeling like things are getting kind of choppy here because I am not quite sure if I am being clear enough, I just simply want to hear from other people with similar experiences like my own and could use some help :?

Welcome aboard! There are many pagans of different sorts as members on this website, but I am not one of them. So please have a seat, and one of them will be with you shortly.

:D

I've delved into Norse and Sumerian mythology a lot - more because I loved the perspectives and stories than actually believing in Marduk and Enki or Thor and Loki. And my gf at the time was a Norse pagan.

have you read anything by zaceriah sitchin? he makes a pretty good argument that the sumerian gods were actually aliens

The name sounds vaguely familiar, but I know about the Annunaki being proposed as aliens.

I'm pagan by accident but not by virtue.

RB: That's right, I remember him now. It's all very interesting, seeing as the Sumerians were the first established civilization and all, but I see no reason to believe the claims, however plausible some pieces of them might be. I'll believe it if it happens.

MC:
Hmm... Choice of religion by accident...

You win 5 interesting points. :D

Hi, nice to meet you all. I want to learn about having Asperger's affects your practice, how you adapt. I am a soolitary who is feeling a little lost. What are some of your experiences. Any advice or info, insights. I need help! Yes help from another Aspie! I have not been tapped on the shoulder by any divine being yet..or maybe I have but wasn't paying attention. I am a Newbie Pagan whose an Aspie whose looking for answers. Thanks :D

Being soolitary helps me tap into my own aspie intuition. The kind of intuition that gives me lazer insight into the methodical motives of people and patterns.

Welcome to wrong planet. I would classify myself as a "pantheistic pagan." Meaning, I'm not polytheistic (believing in multiple deities) and not monotheistic (believing in a deity). I believe that everything that exists itself makes up the cosmic life force that I call "god". I do believe in respecting the earth and the universe because after all, we are a part of it all.
