One Somalian gang-rapist, i.e. an immigrant, was raped by an Iraqi, i.e. another immigrant, in Sweden in 2005, not in prison but in custody.

Rape is practically nil in Swedish prisons, becuase the guards have super control, but there is violence every now and then in those prisons with murderers etc.

i dont agree with it and anyone who would prefer to see these kinds of actions is perverse.

if you want justice, just execute the person. argue that execution is worse sure but how is getting raped by a group of men any better?

Because first of all, its funny as hell; albeit darkly so : . But more importantly, it teaches predatory criminals the most important lesson they need to learn in their pathetic life: what it's like to be a victim.

The Pederast Priest, Father Geoghan was strangled to death by a fellow inmate at Walpole Prison in Massachussetts. He got what he deserved for buggering alter boys and then denying it or justifying it. That is the sort of "jailhouse justice" I do not totally object to. Also there is a certain symmetry and poetry in buggering those who bugger.

some civilizations thrive on corruption. maybe more than half of them.

but if it were..

we really have only one choice regarding jail and prison...put more money [a lot more] into them and make them more equitable; less brutal, less corrupt, less perverse. if there were another reasonable option it would be to get rid of them entirely, as opposed to letting them continue as they are. from my point of view, executing all the inmates, especially the most violent ones and the pack leaders, is more humane than allowing prisons to continue as they are without radically major reform.

in u.s., cruel and unusual punishment is prohibited i.e., illegal. our justice system isn't perfect either. only an idiot will maintain that everyone in prison is guilty as convicted. furthermore a good percentage of the worst criminals are wealthy enough to avoid serving time. heck just look at our politicians..case in point. don't forget that in the u.s. anyway, the more it costs to hire your attorney, the more likely you will be able to avoid prison time. it doesn't take rocket science to figure out a highly paid attorney is highly paid precisely because he/she can get you your freedom or money or whatever else your heart desires from a court of law. what a f***ing crock our justice system is!!

our prisons are institutions of torture and perversion [via the other inmates] of the worst kind. can hell, if it exists, be much worse? or gitmo? the pack and pack leaders are brutal. gang homosexual rape or homosexual rape at knifepoint or being carved up with razor blades and being stabbed and maimed and otherwise tortured are extremely common occurences. there are things going on in prisons and jails that most people aren't even capable of imagining. this is an abomination and has been allowed to go on far too long.

i used to be so upset about this i couldn't sleep at night because of it. now i'm older and tired of life on this planet. a lot of things bother me but few more than this issue. i'm not really suicidal but anything that causes one's death in a relatively fast and painless way is a blessing [like maybe plane crash?] i abhor capital punishment but on the other hand, in at least half the jails and prisons, it should be considered preferable to life imprisonment ....or to even one day in some jails/prisons...

the aspie nephew of a former friend of mine committed suicide after being repeatedly sodomized in prison. whether he was innocent or guilty is irrelevant although my friend maintains he was innocent and was framed. either way, this hyper-sensitive young man just couldn't live with himself after what he had been subjected to in jail.

Any crime against another human being is wrong and there is no way to justify them either. The old saying two wrongs don't make a right is certainly true.

What a bunch of bollocks! That kind of thinking makes you look weak and easy to slap around, since those who do so will not have to worry about anything bad happening to them.Bear in mind that Im not talking exclusively about prison rape, but for instance the homicide of inmates who perpetrated violent crimes.

But people rarely do what is right or avoid doing what is wrong. People often operate on the principle of expedience or fear. If our best moral principles were operative and we heeded the better angels of our nature, then we would not governments or police departments or armies.
