Have you had enough, why am I paying for private jets?

I am a single man, I have no children and own no property. Because of this, I get no tax relief, and, as my accountant told me "Michel, the Government basically sees you as a hooker, they're the pimp. And it's like, go do a few more tricks, the CEOs need another private jet and 40 million dollar bonuses, all paid by you and the likes of you. I don't know about you guys, but I've had enough of this massive transfer of wealth from the middle class to the 0.5% super rich getting richer by the day, while I struggle to just pay my bills. Something is very wrong that has happened in the past few years in America, and I don't know that Obama is fixing anything about this. What do you think?

A few years? You have no sense of history. This has been going on since at least the passage of the 16-th amendment. That is about 97 years if my reckoning is correct. This process of Congress picking the pockets of the citizens went into high gear during the New Deal which started in 1932. That is 77 years ago. Few years indeed!

Oh I agree, I'm so close to becoming a socialist, mean, I am sick of hearing things like 18 Billion dollars of tax payers' money is being used to pay for executives bonuses. Enough is enough!

yeah if you look at the riots in Greece, that sort of thing should have been happening all over the world. in australia, the govt threw money at low income earners to stave off such things.

Well, what I meant is that I used to be able to save money and buy stuff like clothes or a new lamp or new software or something, but in the past few years, even though I still work the same amount at the same job, all I do is pay for rent and taxes, and all I hear is how CEOs are getting obscene amounts of bonus money with my tax dollars. I'm very upset about it. I know that it's always been going on, but it seems that in recent times, it's affected even my modest lifestyle, so I'm sure it's affected others.

You are not buying any expensive corporate jets.

What you are buying are over-priced goods made with over-valued labor, and sold by over-zealous dealers to an over-indulgeant public.

I am as far away from being a socialist as you can imagine and I too would like to see the entire scurvy lot canned. Fired off the job. Instead we are rewarding the people who brought the misery upon us. Talk about perverse incentive!

Our New Fearless Leader will throw money at the problems and hope some of it sticks.
