There's an event on Sunday, February 22. It's about 1.5 hours north of NYC. I was invited to join a carpool of people near me who are going.

The event is for the Larouche gang. It's a bunch of political weirdos that I've been following for years. I don't exactly agree with them on everything, but they make more sense to me than most political groups. I'm sure that anyone who could join this group must be an undiagnosed Aspie. http://www.larouchepac.com/

If you've never heard of them, don't bother. But if you do know something about them, what do you think? Have I found my homies?

Would anyone from WP consider tagging along?

I found out about that guy when I was in Chicago. I've read some of their booklets and such.
It's definitely interesting. I agree with much of it, but sometimes it seems like paranoia overrides the truth of the matter. I would love to go to one of their meetings and bring a camera.

Why a camera? Do they have extra heads or something?

I like photography that contains images that are interesting from a sociological point of view.
There is something about protests and rallies that fascinates to me. I think it's the power of group consciousness that interests me. It's like a military march almost.
