Why is there a UN tribunal dealing with this issue? Who cares about the death of this provincial politician? So, he was the Saudis' man... they hate Hizbullah already and always have. Moreover, there is no way that any tribunal can make a fair assessment - too much pressure. The death of this non-entity has been turned into some monumental event... this is purely political and riotously ridiculous.

Angry Arab tells it like it is...

Who killed Rafiq Hariri? Who Cares?

I don’t know who killed Rafiq Hariri, nor do I care. The matter does not occupy me: not for one second. I would rather find out who killed the children in Gaza in 2008 and who killed the children in South Lebanon in 2006. But the recent “leak” in Der Spiegel is part of what seems to be an orchestrated Western campaign to influence the results of the Lebanese election...

^ I care.

Many free journalists and politicians were been killed afterward and they were all of the same political side (anti-syrian interference/ anti-Hezbollah authority). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005_Lebanon_bombings

If Hezbollah is really behind these assassinations then they're trying to impose an Iranian policy to shut up the other opinions ,then we should care. It's not just an issue of one man's death but a whole country's freedom of will.

Who cares? those care:

And do not mix the Gaza war with the Hezbollah crisis.

We had enough of such propaganda , every anti-Iran/Hezbollah news is a "western orchestra", amazing how always Hezbollah media use Israeli newspaper like Haraatz to discredit the 14 March Alliance (the Anti-Hezbollah/Syria side in Lebanon) yet now everything said by the German newspaper is a lie according to them . Was the bloody invasion of Hezbollah on Beirut in 2008 was also a "western orchestra"?

Besides, that won't affect the Lebanese elections in a bit , the society here is almost formed in clans , so the followers of Hezbollah will still vote Hezbollah clan , whether it's proved that they are behind the murder or not.

PS: I am Lebanese from a Shiite family by the way.

Interesting LP. I have wondered to what extent Syria supports Hezbollah. Obviously they have supported them before, but they are not 100% the same. Hezbollah is closer to Iran/Revolutionary guards, etc.

Syria has pacts with Iran so i would expect they still support Hezbollah.

I know they do, they have made little secret of it. What I was asking was to what extent especially for stuff like this.

Pacts with Iran and Hezbollah ore political strategy. They have their own agenda.

Hebollah escalated the conflict. They were the target.

Plus they nearly restarted the civil war recently.
