I have realized no person in the whole world is perfect. People mainly judge my behaviors because they don’t understand my Asperger’s Syndrome. I am not perfect, they are not either. When you are meeting a new person, it is good to see beyond their quirks. It is difficult for me sometimes, but I do try my best when I meet a new person, or around my friends or family. I pretty much answered the title question for myself. You can’t define a perfect person.
Please forgive me for not taking time to be serious here earlier, Derek.
My wife is my "perfect mate", meaning "someone perfectly suited for me". However, that does not mean she is a "perfect person". In fact, being married to someone "perfect" would likely cause me great pain.
People do not judge our behaviours because they do not understand our AS. They judge our behaviours for the same reasons we judge theirs: To help decide how we either might or might not want to interact with them, if at all. My wife, however, does not usually judge *me* too harshly even when she might truly hate a given behaviour of mine, and her understanding my AS certainly *is* part of what helps make that possible.
Overall then, "perfectly human" is something we all need to accept about others, and I believe a "perfect mate" or friend or anyone else is someone who seriously tries to do that well.
