Dude, let me be honest, okay?

You're overthinking this. I don't want another whole religious war here. You know the ones, where people like you say something like "believe in God", people like me say "Where's the proof?", then you call me a heathen and I call you an ignoramus. Anyone that has been on an internet forum knows how this goes. I'm tired of it. I respect your belief, I really do, though whether you choose to believe that is up to you. I am not setting you up to self-fulfill some cuss-laden attack or anything. Just chill. 8)

Then tell Kilroy to butt out of my business and this war will be over. He can go to Hell, I'll go to Heaven knowing I made a sincere effort at his salvation, but if he isn't willing to meet me halfway, then he is lost already.

Great, let's mediate this mutha. 8)

Let's just agree to end all hostilities from this point on. "f**k this," "Smite that," it's just not conducive to a peaceful environment. :)

Maybe he doesn't want your salvation? You demand that others respect your beliefs. Why don't you give a shot at respecting theirs? Or are only your beliefs and those that fall in line with them worthy of respect?

I think the lesson here is that we're all passionate about what we believe in, and sometimes we can be unnecessarily pushy (atheist, Christian, or otherwise).

Who said I didn't respect him? I don't but when he says f**k you and suck my dick I have no reason to respect as I'm sure he has no reason to respect me. And why don't you butt out of this instead of making it 4-on-1 or is that the politically correct thing to do to Christians...

Last I checked, people are free to comment where they like here. Sorry if you don't like that. If I agreed with you, would it be politically correct to make it a 3 on 2? Or does it only matter because you consider yourself to be "outnumbered?"

You spoke of him meeting you in the middle in terms of salvation. If he doesn't want your salvation, and you keep pushing for it or telling him he will burn in hell, you aren't respecting his beliefs. Simple as that.

It's nobody's fault, these religion threads bring out the worst in everybody.

The internet is serious business.

Let's just drop it and agree to disagree and love each other as neighbors and for whatever we believe let's from this moment forward agree to bring out the best in each of us and do as much good for this sinful world as we can.

8O Oh...my....god. Two people finally decided to agree to disagree with religion and not pester each other anymore! There is hope for this world still.
