Suzanne Wright, cofounder of AutismSpeaks will appear on ABC's "The View", at 11am tomorrow. If anyone is interested. She is the wife of Bob Wright, president of NBC, whose grandson has aspergers.

I rarely watch Network TV; only PBS. Thanks for letting us know. I'm gonna watch it.

I know Meredith Vieira's style very well, as she is the host of the syndicated daytime "Who Wants to be a Millionaire."

I Tivo'd it, so I was able to skip through the opening "chat" and get to the Autism portion. There was no real information presented - just the lady promoting the AutismSpeaks website, repeating the usual talk of how it's a growing epidemic that destroys families, how there's no proof that vaccines don't trigger Autism, etc. No mention of anything non-negative or hopeful other than help that could come as a result of giving sufficient money to their organization.

There was one point where she mentioned one of the early signs is the fact that the child doesn't make eye contact and there was this collective sad sigh from the panel.

It sounds that she is just trying to cash in and to get her site publicity only. It seems to Me neither good or bad done at all.
