I think the parental quote that accompanies a lot of the articles on this is hilarious.
'blah blah blah my nine year old son looks up to Radcliffe blah blah he shouldn't take his clothes off because children might see, moo moo moo, baa baa blah'
Maybe this is the time to help their 9 yo discover the difference between fantasy and reality.
Radcliffe's an actor... it's all pretend. He is not Harry Potter, and even if he thought he was, HP's fiction too.
This puritanical BS is getting out of hand. We come into this world naked, we live our lives naked under clothing, and we die naked (frequently still clothed, which I find a little odd at times), nudity is a part of our humanity. I find it ironic when I hear some parents go on about the evils of nudity (so to speak) when, in order to've had children, they not only were (most likely) nude, but also had sex. OMGZ O NOEZ! Not teh sexxorz!
However, if you want to see an even bigger uproar, replace Daniel Radcliffe with Emma Watson appearing in a play at 17 sans clothes.
edit: I wish I'd looked that buff at 17.
