Show some R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Dead from cancer at the age of 76.

(At least she got that, which is more than what most of us on the spectrum ever got or will ever get.)

Sad, for her death and our loss.

Angry, for the inevitable media circus that is sure to follow, as every journalist tries to make a name for him- or her-self by milking every aspect of the singer's life in a seemingly endless number of "tribute pieces" that are nothing more than self-congratulatory pats on the back for each and every media outlet.

She sang like a natural woman not a autotuned one.

Years ago on TV I saw Marianne Faithful describe her as "the voice of God".

So God is reclaiming the voice now.
