Emergence of a Deadly Coronavirus
My approach when overcoming a serious problem is to throw everything at it including the kitchen sink and see what sticks.
So yes antibody treatment is one of the tools. It actually has a basis in the Spanish Flu Pandemic:
Goldberger’s goal was to prove that Pfeiffer’s bacillus caused Spanish influenza. The convicts were quarantines on Gallups Island in Boston Harbor. Each man inhaled a pure culture of Pfeiffer’s bacillus. Each was then inoculated with blood from flu patients. Nothing happened. No volunteer got sick. Goldberger then sprayed the convicts’ nostrils and eyes and swabbed their throats with broths of pure Pfeiffer’s bacillus. Again there was no result. Goldberger was baffled. He sent the volunteers to the influenza wards of Chelsea Naval Hospital. Each convict shook hands, talked with, and sat beside flu victims. They even leaned up close and let dying patients cough in their faces. Still, no volunteers got sick. None of Goldberger’s volunteers got sick. However, one of Goldberger’’ colleagues, the doctor who ran the quarantine station, caught influenza and died.
So the prisoners were inoculated with the blood from Spanish flu patients ... and then they developed an immunity.
This can be due to two causes.
1. The prisoners received the antibodies from those infected.
or
2. The infection route (respiratory vs. blood) produces different mortality rates. In other words if you are inoculated with the virus by a blood transmission then your immune system has time to develop an immunity. Then later as you experience a respiratory exposure at a later date, your immunity protects you.

And the fact of mass burials in Potter’s Field, where unclaimed people are buried. I suspect many homeless people perished.
They don’t do mass burials, except in really desperate circumstances.
Where do I find the statistics?
i'd hate to be in a mass burial...
eye-rolling/obvious but i mean..for when I die I at least want a bit of earth separating me from other people.
i don't want a gravestone or anything fancy just a bit of earth that doesn't have to be shared by lots of other bodies immediately (and not as a result of deterioration & soil compression making it inevitable over centuries)
that's actually quite tragic.
mass burials are done in genocides and other avoidable things.. like recently, Burma what they did to Rohingyas....
to think of it being done out of necessity out of anyone's control is shocking.

From what I am reading about New York's Potter's Field on Heart Island, about 25 caskets are buried there per week. In the drone footage that has been circulating, 40 caskets were being buried. All the extra trench area was dug only in case it is needed. I think a lot of people are seeing this footage and saying mass burials are taking place. But that is not what is happening at this time. This is another example of things looking worse and or being perceived worse than they actually are.

When you look back in history to the Spanish flu pandemic, this is what occurred in Washington D.C. over a hundred years ago.
Washington was engulfed in disease. The Federal Government was becoming crippled. Over half of the employees of Herbert Hoover’s Food Administration were sick.
The little staff that remained in the Departments of State, War, and Navy was frequently marched outside and asked to breathe deeply. This was done hoping that it would cause the germs to leave them, however it never worked. Congress even closed its public galleries. Still, the infection spread. Numerous policemen and trolley drivers fell sick. So many firemen were sick that it was said the whole city would burn down to the ground if a fire ever got started. The Washington Star even began publishing a column of famous people who had died of influenza.
Health Service epidemiologist and specialist in malaria control was selected to be Washington D.C.’s Health Czar. He divided the city into self-contained units. Separate medical, nursing, and volunteer staffs served each district. A new law was made stating that no one could knowingly expose himself or any other persons to infection of the epidemic influenza. It was now a crime in Washington to knowingly transmit influenza. It was also unlawful for the sick to go out in public.
Many people in the nation’s capital began wearing gauze or cheesecloth facemasks. These masks were minimally effective even when used properly. A few loose layers of gauze created no limitations to throngs of microbes. Dr, H.S. Mustard realized this, he called the masks an absurdity. People, however, still wore them.
Every hospital bed in Washington D.C. was full. Soldiers were ordered to dig graves as fast as they could. However, there were no coffins for the graves. Coffins had become a rare and expensive product.

Every country can’t stay in lockdown forever, and in order for life to return to normal, there are only two ways that the virus can be defeated.
Either a vaccine is found or the country develops “herd immunity” which means about 60 per cent of the population need to be infected.
For Australia that's 15 million people and for the US that's 197 million.....how realistic is this?
or #3 you find an effective treatment that prevents the 1% to 2% of the population who is elderly with co-morbidities from passing away from this disease.
What was the antibody treatment that was being discussed earlier? Is it confirmed, that it is effective and exists, or is it just theoretical? The thing where they said they can engineer it.

This research group has synthetic antibodies that they made to fight SARS years ago. They are currently testing to see how effective they are to the current corona virus. If the antibodies do not work, they can chemically modify them until they get one that works. Unfortunately, that part of the research may take a long time to do.
Www1.nyc.gov is where you find the death statistics for COVID19. Overall death statistics can be found in the NYC Department of Health site.
My wife is a nurse. In the front lines. She says there’s way more deaths than usual.
This is for real. No BS.

I always find it funny that the people least capable of doing research, are the ones demanding "evidences." You have a pair of hands. You can do Google yourself.
See, where I live, the elementary schools expanded their STEM program to be STREAM program: Science, Technology, RESEARCH, Engineering, ARTS, and Math. RESEARCH and ARTS skills are considered essential for modern-age children. Kids are learning to do research already from 1st grade onward. (Typing is already taught in kindergarten.)
Also, the dust has not settled. Italy got around to provide excess death numbers after the worst was over. With this virus, just be patient. Numbers will come out. Meanwhile, indirect evidences, like burial workers now working five days a week, instead of one day a week (trace magz's posting), sewage PCR tests, emergency (fire department) stats, etc. all indicate excess deaths. Read this:
https://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/the-true-scale-of-excess-mortality-in-nyc
https://gothamist.com/news/surge-number-new-yorkers-dying-home-officials-suspect-undercount-covid-19-related-deaths
These are all early "signs." The final numbers will come out later.
That number has been steadily increasing since March 30th, with 241 New Yorkers dying at home Sunday — more than the number of confirmed COVID-19 deaths that occurred citywide that day. On Monday night, the city reported 266 new deaths, suggesting the possibility of a 40% undercount of coronavirus-related deaths.

Why are you such a dick towards me? Do you consider me more easily kicked to the curb than the others? You are not a nice person at all in my experience. Those stick figure kids in your avatar should be crying.
I think you picking the youngest and probably most disabled person in this thread to pounce on, says a lot about you.

Does it cover the mortality statistics for previous years?
