The one from 'i don't like mondays' was a female I think. Brenda Ann Spencer.
Perhaps it doesn't count as a mass shooter.

Yes she may have intended it. Anyway RIP to all their victims.

5 seconds of googling indicates that although rare, mass shootings have indeed been perpetrated by women before.

Canada is turning into the US, and that's not a good thing.

I read that the suspect was a trans woman. So naturally the moral panic and transphobia will go up even higher, even though about 97% of school shooters are cis males.

This is tragic, but I'm glad these are rare and shocking here, unlike some other countries where they're on average a daily occurrence.

She's not the first female shooter. There was another prominent mass shooting in the US committed by a female shooter a couple years ago:

https://www.unionleader.com/news/crime/ ... 222f3.html

I only know about it because /r9k/ was obsessed with her, talking about how hot she was and how they wanted to make her their waifu. Which is kinda weird since she was 15 at the time.

That said, it is true that 99.99% of mass shooters are male, because the primary cause of aggression and violent behavior in humans is testosterone.

"Trump says he raised Swiss tariffs after leader’s call: ‘I didn’t really like the way she talked’

Quote:
Democrats on the House Foreign Affairs Committee said Trump’s comments were an admission that his tariff policies “are not about national security,” a claim he has frequently made.

“In the case of Switzerland, he increased tariffs because… *checks notes*… he did not like the way the Swiss leader ‘talked to us,'” the committee’s Democrats wrote in a statement shared on the social platform X. “Republicans must join Democrats to end this reckless behavior.”

Trump is a soft man with no understanding of how power works pretending to be hard and powerful.

Nothing comes screaming out except Brenda Spencer which has already been discussed

Another 5 seconds on Google revealed the following:

"...former postal worker Jennifer San Marco, 44, shot and killed a former neighbor before going on a suicidal rampage at a mail processing plant..."

"Snochia Moseley, 26, killed three people in September 2018 after opening fire at a Rite Aid distribution center in Aberdeen, Md."

"Tashfeen Malik and Francine Graham also carried out mass shootings with male partners. Malik, 27, and Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, killed 14 and injured more at a holiday party in San Bernardino, Calif., on Dec. 2, 2015."

"Cherie Lash Rhoades (2014): Killed four people and wounded two at a California community center."

"Nasim Najafi Aghdam (2018): Shot three people at YouTube headquarters in California before killing herself."

"Amy Bishop (2010): Killed three colleagues and wounded three others at a biology department meeting."

"Sylvia Seegrist (1985): Opened fire in a Pennsylvania shopping mall, killing three."

Audrey Hale (2023): Shot and killed three children and three adults at a school in Nashville, Tenn

All of whom committed their actions after:

"Brenda Ann Spencer (1979): Killed two adults and wounded others at a school in California (often cited as an early school shooter)."

I literally typed "list of female mass shooters" into google, and it "screamed" (gave) me one. Didn't even have to dig.

Just for giggles, I also searched on google.com.au, and the same results came up. Wild.

Giggles? not sure if if the victims families would consider it funny. I did, however completely miss all of these
https://www.nbcmiami.com/news/national- ... s/3002301/

In particular Tashfeen Malik, I'd put her in the same category as many high profile male mass shooters. Back when ISIS was allowed on social media around 2015.

Yes, I listed her in my post. That's one of the sites I found.

I'm not sure the victim's families would care for your complete oversight of their plight, either. But also, the "giggles" was to see if the internet was hampering you somehow, not about murder. I've encountered it before, where the origin of the google search made a difference in results. Images results for "Tiananmen Square" are very different on google.com vs google.cn, for example.

i have not found anything credible online about the shooter being a trans woman, i guess it wouldn't necessarily be surprising

i really wonder what the equivalent of school shooter behavior was in past societies.
