Sixty five year old Willy Burgard passed away last Sunday after battling cancer. The name Willy Burgard will mean nothing to the average person. But it does to me, as Willy was my father-in-law. He was by no means a perfect person, but he did something right in giving the world - and me - my beautiful wife, and by extension, my daughter.
God speed, Willy.

I'm very sorry for your loss. People always make jokes about not getting along with the in-laws, but that isn't always the case. My father in law was the best man I ever knew. When you love and admire someone like that, it's a very deep loss. You have my sympathy and good thoughts, prayers, or whatever you wish sent your way.

Any prayers I can offer you? They're yours, with no need to ask.
Rest in peace for now, Willy; then rise in glory with all the saints.
