Agree, but shudder at the idea of Pence being president, even on a caretaker basis.

Pence couldn't be any worse than Ford, in my opinion.

Maybe if they had not been clamoring for his impeachment since the minute he was elected, those charges might seem more plausible.

I would say all this is mostly moot, anyway

Unless 22 Republicans and 1 independent (and all Democrats) vote for conviction, Trump won't be convicted by the Senate. There has to be 67 total votes for conviction, if all 100 members of the Senate vote. If only 99 vote, 66 would have to vote for conviction.

Unless some sort of great, great revelation comes to the forefront, there is virtually no possibility that this will happen.

The GOP doesn't want to let go of that power...

We all know that's the REAL reason they have supported Trump through all his BS!

Do those numbers mean what is needed to impeach him, or to convict him after impeachment?

Right after he is reelected the black uniforms come out and goosestepping begins.

I feel like if they don’t succeed in impeaching Trump, it will be a big win for him, and he will have an even bigger chance of winning the 2020 election. There’s a year until the next election, I feel like it would have been better for the Democrats if they just focused on winning the election instead.

As I said before after I had my epiphany, americans are NOT nazis! They are a unique class of evil all on their own...

Ok, it's not Americans themselves that are 'evil'. But I think our government is rather questionable.

Winning an election is now considered an abuse of power. I can’t WAIT for the Senate to call the following witnesses:
Joe Biden
Hunter Biden
Adam Schiff
”The Whistleblower”
If they do, Trump wins in 2020.

Locking hispanics up in internment camps under hellish conditions, banning people from entering the 'land of religous freedom' for being muslim, doing away with regulations on pollution (hell he's practically trying to FORCE California to pollute more after they refused!) giving huge tax cuts to the rich 1% and big corporations (in what f*****g universe does that make sense???), turning his back on our real allies while cozying up to dictators who brainwash, torture, and murder their own people, threatening to start another american civil war on twitter over being impeached.

But I'm wasting my energy with you. You're either brainwashed by the Trump cult like so many in this country or you're simply one of the ones who dont give a s**t about the terrible things he's doing because "He's improving the economy!! !"

That's exactly what I mean about America being a unique kind of evil. Americans will gladly tolerate inhumanity and corruption as long as it means big money. Yay Capitalism!
