The first notes were received Dec. 21, 2020. Other notes were received Feb. 17, Feb. 22, March 1 and March 3. After a 6-month absence, a final note was received Sept. 6.

CBS46 reported in March that the notes were received by at least 7 Blacks who lived in the neighborhood and that the notes contained the N-word and talked about hanging people and killing kids.

Until Sept. 6, Douglasville PD says it did not have much to go on. However, they got the break they needed on Sept. 6 when evidence was found linking the notes to the home of Lucas. Detectives were able to obtain a search warrant and then found other evidence that ties Lucas to the notes.

Given the state of Georgia is one of the founder states for the Klan and have members throughout this "fine" state, I should imagine an unmarked thankyou note will be coming to this woman in prison.

It will be interesting to see if a psychiatric report reveals something of this woman's state of mind.

How sad is this tho. All the time and resources the police department put into this, genuinely thinking there was malevolent racism occurring toward innocent people, when it was just some petty balloonhead with a persecution complex.

Do you know what this is?

This is just the latest piece of evidence that when it comes to racism in America, the demand exceeds the supply.

Or else things like this would not keep happening.

I suppose, for those who set out to find and publicise evidence of "racism" in any interaction between people of different races, to see a public statement such as that which describes their position so well would be uncomfortable for them.

After all, no-one had said that Racism doesn't exist, with this simply pointing out the number of false assertions of "racism" we see (Jussie Smollet, Covington school children, etc.) compared to cases of actual Racism. Were there sufficient "supplies" of racism to satiate their desires, there would be no need for these false assertions\instances to occur, and those with the compulsion to find "racism" would be among the first to decry those false instances because they detract from and devalue the impact of the legitimate instances.

Nope, I am just saying this story doesn't come close to negating the mountain of stress black people have to live with navigating their lives worrying about everything other americans worry about but also having to additionally deal with the spectre of being gaslighted, stabbed in the back or attacked (both figuratively and literally) for living while being black.

I recall back in the 1990s video of warskins (a popular skinhead group run by Tom Metzger (another David Duke) numbering in the thousands). Their members would target black families and their children in mixed neighborhoods in order to scare them enough to move out of the neighborhood. Meanwhile the klan were burning crosses and scrawling racist stuff on middle class black people's driveways.

This guilty party in this one outlier story might be black, but the PTSD experienced by her victims didn't just appear out of nowhere.
