And yet another reason why I can't stand religious fanatics.

it is so sad when people put religion ahead of health.

I can guess the story already. We had a similar case here in NZ where a baby was very sick and the parents prayed to God to heal him instead of taking action. Now, I'm not against religion, but for Pete's sake, DO SOMETHING!! ! God can't do the work for you, you have to be the one who gets off your ass and does something about it. Not doing anything when you are perfectly able to head on down to the doctor's to help is an insult to who he is, in my opinion.



Besides, he's busy enough in the Middle East as it is.

Define finatic.. And yes, sometimes health problems happen, and we need a doctor for them. I personaly think God stopped interviening that way long ago. I don't get where the "loving" thing comes in for God either. He's a God, for crying out loud. Aren't Gods supposed to do what the heck they want?

Religion ahead of health people do not deserve to have kids nor manage their life. These people need to be institutionalized, if they didnt kill their daughter yet i would let them off with a hospital mental ward. but now they will be lucky if they get premeditated manslaughter charges, which more likely it will be first degree murder...

God helps those who help themselves. Faith, prayer and medical intervention all work together.

That child died needlessly and the parents are culpable. The legal system should have intervened.

Sometimes people fail to recognize that God already answered their prayers: by teaching a doctor to recognize and treat the symptons their loved one has. They are closing their ears to God, and opening them only to a set of rules, when they fail to see that.

It's not a sin to go to the hospital. Where do people get such crazy ideas?
