My mom left today (against my wishes, and my dad's too) , to Pakistan then Middle East. she had bought the ticket in advance and didnt want to waste thousands of dollars.. 
My XH just told me on the phone if you're worried that you have it get tested (because his co-worker did) but he said it
s a big risk to get tested (if u dont have it ) because ur exposing urself to the germs at the hospital..
but he also told me
that his co-workers (not him) just went on a conference last week, and someone (or more than one person) there had an actual CONFIRMED case of corona, afterwards it was found,
but he said he is very careful not to shake hands, let anyone touch him etc.\
and his co-workers seem fine still too...

A local aspie support group I joined last month has canceled the Sat. meeting 
. As of today we have 20 confirmed out of 1,500,000 in the county. Went to the store and there were signs of prepper buying and about double the usual crowd.

out of an abundance of caution i will chop off my hands, block off my lungs and rip off my face to prevent myself from touching my face or breathing in virus-infested particles.
Wouldn't it be simpler to buy a backpack with hydration reservoir so you can fill the bladder with sanitizer or rubbing alcohol?

I think that buying an NBC suit would be less expensive to wear in public on Earth than it would be for buying oxygen tanks on Mars.

I am not sure if you are joking or not. But NBC isn't in reference to the media company. NBC suit is referring to a Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical suit. Basically the military version of a HAZMAT suit.

my brother told me of an actual news article from the UK about
"coronavirus conference cancelled due to coronavirus"
then he told me that under it, someone had commented:
"conference of soothsayers cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances"
my son's therapist told me today she had signed up for a class for march break,
about balance/focus (they do something with beanbags, and balance boards). she was telling me i should do it, it helps in coordination and focus,
since our modern habits, often have us not using our brains in the correct way to coordinate and focus..
it is great to re-calibrate, or to improve if you suck at it already.
however, the class has been cancelled due to the fear of Coronavirus...
