Do you think Trump is a homophobe? Do you think he'll persecute gays? Some of his most prominent supporters are gay!

I don't think he cares one way or the other. But he's shown he's not against pandering to racists and xenophobes so I don't think he's above pandering to homophobes either.

Employers can't fire people for being black or even their party affiliation so why should they allow employers to fire someone based on sexual orientation?

Employers can fire you for any or no reason in most states, you have to prove discrimination which is borderline impossible for most people besides lawyers and the well to do. State laws are state laws by the way, that's not something the president has a say in. What is Hillary going to do about you think?

It's just misplaced fear really, Trump neutralized one the Democrats main talking points and they don't know how campaign without it. Peter Thiel said it best, 'fake culture wars only distract us from our economic decline."

How about instead of trying to divert the topic when you reply just speak to the subject of the post at hand?

Why are Trump and Pence's remarks on this so different? And more importantly why is Trump calling on a foreign government to hack into Hillary's emails?

That is totally relevant to discussion of the RNC.

Pence's statement is what? It's all predicated on an 'if' and if my aunt had testicles she'd be my uncle. Yes, IF Russia is hacking our government and trying to rig our elections then yeah sure there will be 'serious consequences' but that's not what is happening.

No. Answer the question. Why is Trump calling for Russia to hack Clinton's emails despite the fact that his own VP thinks that's a such a serious issue?

YES! He's calling on whoever has the information which they already have to release it, if they have Hillary's email then it is Hillary that is at fault as I said all along since she is the one that showed at best gross negligence in her use of a private email server. She turned in everything right so what is the worry? Twisting it into what you want it to be does not make it so!

That last sentence screams irony considering who it's coming from.

This is just getting sad now, Jacoby.

I can say the same to you. If anything is revealed with these Clinton emails then she can't cry about the Russians, she might be crying about the pinstripes she may be soon wearing however and I'm not talking about the Yankees!

The FBI and the Attorney General gave The Hillary a free pass.

well she did delete 30k+ 'personal emails' after being subpoenaed to turn over her emails

like I said before the Clinton's are smart enough to 'burn the tapes' so to speak but they may of made a very crucial mistake in all that however.

I will bet small change that no indictment is forthcoming.

Who knows? Maybe Hillary was telling the truth about her personal emails only having to deal with her 'yoga routines' and pictures of her grandchildren, would be a pretty boring leak. Not sure how that jeopardizes national security tho, if Hillary has nothing to hide then what does she have to fear with these being exposed? If criminal wrongdoing was exposed then I expect justice to be served.

If Trump has nothing to hide then why won't he release his tax returns like every presidential candidate since the 60's has?

Trump will release them once the audit is finished, you know this!

Why won't Hillary release the transcripts to the speeches she gave to Goldman Sachs? She made A LOT of money based on something she said so I think we have the right to know. What is her reason for not releasing those?

Nixon released his while an audit was ongoing. If you can't be at the minimum as open and honest as Richard Nixon you probably have ethical issues.
