Trump doesn’t see a damn thing. He just wants to isolate the USA from the rest of the world.

He has respect for dictatorial types. He sees them as being comrades-in-arms.

Garbage. He wants to save the US from wasting TRILLIONS so he can put that money back into the US and boast about what a great job he is doing. But screw his motivations if he is doing the right thing. And for the 100th time, THE US IS IN SYRIA ILLEGALLY.

Genetically, however, the Turkish speaking populations of Anotolia are more closely related to Greeks and Armenians while the Turkish speaking Azerbaijanis are genetically Iranian. The central asian homeland of the Turks the Kazhakh and Uigher people are closer to the Mongols than their western cousins.

Also, as said in his recent Minneapolis speech,

He hates having to tell parents that their child died in some foreign land.

It's a bit strange seeing people doing the opposite of a Vietnam protest.

In Syria, all we have on the ground are a few hundred advisers and trainers. Not exactly the same thing as Vietnam, where thousands of Americans were taking an active part in combat.

It's funny how often you point out how liberals are just as bad as conservatives these days.

It's not the liberals and conservatives who are both bad, it's the Republicans and the Democrats who are owned by these huge corporation who rule the world through big business.

Conservatives and Liberals both have good ideas if they could just shut up and work together.

It's just that every time I hear someone spouting about the justification and urgent need of war, it's almost always coming out of a Republican's mouth.

That is probably true.

This is a complete betrayal of the Syrian Kurds by the US:

Quote:
More in sorrow than in anger, the commander, Mazloum Abdi, wrote, “When the whole world failed to support us, the United States extended its hands. We shook hands and appreciated its generous support.”

But under Turkish pressure, at Washington’s request, the Kurds “agreed to withdraw our heavy weapons from the border area with Turkey, destroy our defensive fortifications, and pull back our most seasoned fighters. Turkey would never attack us so long as the U.S. government was true to its word with us.”

And then US troops suddenly pull out, leaving the Syrian Kurds exposed, with no time to establish adequate defenses. It's as if it would have been better that the US never extended its aid at all, because had they not, the Syrian Kurds could have at least had their fortifications up.

This is a shameful day for America. All because of an orange incompetent.

I actually supported pulling out troops, but not like this. We should have made clear we will be pulling out, given them time to adjust, and then after that pull out.
