So you older guys didn't get all excited looking at pictures of boobs in a Playboy magazine?
I've heard in those days guys would even rifle though National Geographics looking for boobie pictures.

Quick question what will happen if I post a picture of a topless woman right here?

Nothing?

A warning?

A ban?

What if I post it somewhere else on WP, do you think it would go unreported?

I broke it down because they break down news events that way on the morning talk radio shows I listen to. I assumed it was part of how such a conversation was conducted, rather than because they think people are dummies.

Yeah....us older geezers like topless women....so what? We're allowed!

And we did look in the National Geographic for them....so what? I know I did!

I feel like the whole situation was overkill. The United States is relatively prudish in this regard. But....actually...not in this instance....because it was a false arrest/summons given to the lady.

Now....if the lady went around gallivanting in the nude....that's another story.

I would think that the posting of photos of topless people on WP might be evaluated based on context. There have been much worse photos posted here without penalty. I wouldn't post a picture of a topless woman; it's not appropriate for me, myself, to do this.

When people say "let me break it down to you," it is usually taken as condescending by the "breakee." If it wasn't meant that way, then I extend my sincere apologies.

When we get to the point where "topless women" isn't such a big deal, I would think that progress has been made.

I am mature enough not to get overtly turned on when I see a topless woman. It's not like the sexual desire would dominate my soul. I believe women should be able to discreetly breastfeed their babies in a park or something.

I hope this woman just fades into obscurity, and is allowed to live her life. She did nothing egregious, deserving of all this bad publicity.
