LOL, now I know you don't know what you're talking about, Rogan ain't woke, but he's no bigot, as anyone familiar with him and his show would know.

Did you check the credentials of those "health professionals" before swallowing what they had to say? Maybe you should.

Lots of people still like Neil Young. He is not irrelevant.

Rogan himself on the controversy:

Joe Rogan wrote:
There’s a lot of people who have a distorted perception of what I do — maybe based on soundbites or based on headlines of articles that are disparaging. The podcast has been accused of spreading dangerous misinformation. Specifically, about two episodes — a little about some other ones, but specifically about two.

One with Dr. Peter McCullough and one with Dr. Robert Malone. Dr. Peter McCullough is a cardiologist, and he is the most published physician in his field in history. Dr. Robert Malone owns nine patents on the creation of MRNA-vaccine technology and is at least partially responsible for the creation of the technology that led to MRNA vaccines. Both these people are very highly credentialed, very intelligent, very accomplished people and they have an opinion that is different from the mainstream narrative. I wanted to hear what their opinion is. I had them on, and because of that, those episodes in particular, were labeled as being dangerous, had dangerous misinformation in them.

The problem I have with the term disinformation, especially today, is that many of the things we thought of as misinformation a short while ago are now accepted as fact. For instance, eight months ago, if you said, “If you get vaccinated, you can still catch Covid, and you can still spread Covid” — you would be removed from social media. They would ban you from certain platforms. Now, that’s accepted as fact. If you said, “I don’t think cloth masks work,” you would be banned from social media. Now, that’s openly and repeatedly stated on CNN. If you said I think it’s possible that Covid-19 came from a lab, you would be banned from many social-media platforms. Now that’s on the cover of Newsweek.* All of those theories, that at one point in time were banned, were openly discussed by those two men that I had on my podcast, that have been accused of “dangerous misinformation.”

I do not know if they’re right. I don’t know, because I’m not a doctor, I’m not a scientist. I’m just a person who sits down, and talks to people, and has conversations with them.

Do I get things wrong? Absolutely. I get things wrong. But I try to correct them. Whenever I get things wrong, I try to correct them. Because I’m interested in telling the truth.

Then you obviously didn’t read the petition and see the clips from his show where he is a bigot.
Those “heath professionals”,doctors and scientists ,( which Rogan admits he’s not) have more credibility than him.
I’ll spend my time better watching classic arts showcase and elevate my mind.Life is short, I don’t want to waste hours of it listening to a jerk.
Chopin yes , Rogan no.

I think the current political paradigm of swooping down like vultures on anyone who is expressing an opinion that doesn't meet mainstream or establishment approval is a very bad path. It may be well meaning, but it's going to erode our capacity for meaningful dialogs.

Don't like what Joe Rogan or Dr. Malone has to say? Alright, don't listen to them -- or debate the content. If you're worried disinformation might affect some people's opinions, isn't that a far better option than censorship? I think so.

We still have to very leary of the people doing the censoring and what they have to gain from it.

I thought I'd reiterate my earlier comment because I believe it's of the upmost importance that we realize what this is really all about.

A waste of time, I suppose.

Anybody who watches CNN on a regular basis is probably aware how much money Pfizer pumps into that s**t network, (sponsors are always credited at the beginning or end of the segment. ) Hence the reason they lied about Ivermectin, and continue to distribute so much medical disinformation surrounding Covid and the vaccines.

Obviously, that's what's driving the Rogan controversy. Big Pharm wants maximum profits, and will resort to lies to achieve that end. They lie at the behest of Big Pharm, they lie at the behest of the MIC, they lie at the behest of Wall Street, etc. The media outlets are run by about six corporations and a dozen or so billionaires.

I'm pro-vaxx, but I'm not pro lies during a global pandemic.

Do you still believe this is all about protecting the masses from medical disinformation? Time to wake up!

Here's Rachael Maddow lying about the vaccines at the beginning of this clip. You are no no more protected from getting or transmitting Covid than a vaccinated. That's the science. It's not a sterilizing vaccine. It protects us from serious complications:

I've listened to his show enough to make up my own opinion, unlike you, who has been told what to think by others.

Has Rogan ever claimed to be any sort of expert? And again, I highly suggest you review that list, as most of the signers are neither doctors nor scientists, quite of few of them are just podcasters or journalists, which you'd know if you weren't just blindly repeating garbage because it aligns with your priors.

You're free to enjoy your own ignorance, it's your choice, but try not to spread it, it's unseemly and creates extra work for those of us who actually try and learn about things before claiming to know about them.

/\ I don’t have to watch every show to know what I don’t like or agree with, and
I did read the list, some are medical professionals some are not.Enough for me.More than he had on his show.I didn’t say he claimed to be a medical expert.I stated a fact, he isn’t.And he admits that.
CNN did lie , I agree with that.So did Brian Williams when he covered Katrina.
Unfortunately people do.
As for assuming that I post without reading, then you are the ignorant one.I read ever article that I post.
I also prefer to read medical articles from real professionals that are peer reviewed than believe what some podcaster says.
Perhaps you should try reading instead of listening.I know it’s more work for some, but you will be better informed.

Dr. Malone is certainly no crackpot, he was a pioneer in developing the vaccine technology we are now utilizing. The only crime he's committed is disagreeing with the official narrative being currently pushed.

It's amazing to me that this thread has devolved into bashing Rogan, rather than bashing mindless censorship of differing opinions. There is no justification for that. We are heading the opposite direction we should be heading. We should be questioning everything and allowing these conversations to take place. Censorship of this sort should be a big red flag to everyone.

Yes, medical journals are a valuable source of information, I'm all for perusing them. The mantra these days is, "listen to the science. " But science evolves as we go along and not every scientist is on the same page.
